About the home

Las Brisas has a large heated swimming pool (with life guard), surrounded by sun loungers and parasols, a separate children's pool, a children's play area and 2 tennis courts. Overlooking the pool is the reception building including a snack bar, bar and restaurant, indoor games room and shop. Internet access is available in reception for a nominal fee.

Las Brisas is only a five minute walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and beaches of Playa Blanca. The bungalow has its own patio garden which includes 2 sun loungers, patio furniture and a barbecue.It is in a quiet position but only 1 minute from the pool.

We have been very careful to keep a 'Spanish' feel to the villa. No English kitchens or leather suites here!! There is the option of air-conditioning in the bedroom if required, at a charge of 25 euros per week, payable to reception. Newly refurbished bathroom in Jan 2012. Pool towels are provided but a refundable deposit is required on your arrival at Las Brisas. Paypal accepted.

The comfortable living area includes a dining table and chairs, a colour television with satellite reception, a DVD and a telephone. There is a sofa and 2 chairs.
An all electric 'Spanish' kitchen comprising oven/ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, oven along with a full range of crockery and cutlery.
The bedroom has two single beds, supplied with bedlinen, there is plenty of storage space and a mosquito roller blind to the window.
A hairdryer is supplied.
The separate newly refurbished bathroom comprises of a wash basin, toilet, bidet, bath with shower over, shaving point, mosquito blind to the window. Towels are provided.
Villa 105 has a full touristic licence.

2 internet kiosks are available at reception. Printing also available. Wi FI access available for laptops. On most occasions I have had Wifi access from the garden and lounge in the villa (but I cannot guarantee!). Wifi 10 euros per week payable to reception.

Water and electricity are included in the price. The option of air-con in the bedroom is available at a cost to you of 25 euros per week plus a refundable deposit of 50 euros for the remote control (please request and pay for at reception).

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is around four hours flying time from the UK and Eire, making it the closest genuine winter sun destination to home.

And the island boasts the most amazing volcanic scenery, forged by eruptions during the 1730´s that went on for six years and which left about one quarter of the island submerged beneath a sea of solid black lava.

The Playa Blanca / Las Brisas, Lanzarote area

Playa Blanca is situated at the southernmost tip of the island and enjoys the most hours of sunshine. The village has a small harbour which has ferries going to and from the island of Fuerteventura as well as a trip on a glass bottomed boat to Papagaya.

Playa Blanca has three beaches, all within walking distance and lots of shops, restaurants and bars as well as banking and supermarket facilities.
