Playa Vista offers the perfect holiday destination. There is the huge electrically heated pool, multiple patios and balconies, large shade awnings, enormous inside space and stylish furnishings. And all this within 2 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minute walk to restaurants and bars.
With fantastic 180 degree views of the sea and Fuerteventura, the balconies and patios catch the sun all day long. Awnings provide welcomed shade for a break from the sun. As an added bonus, the downstairs patio is completely enclosed, offering complete privacy and shelter. The entire property is furnished to a very high standard from tasteful decor, wrought iron beds, leather sofas and dining chairs to large modern kitchen.

Playa Vista is a very well appointed villa offering very generous inside space. The lounge dining room is extremely spacious, easily accommodating the 2 three seater leather sofas as well as the 8 seater dining table. Additionally, there is a breakfast room on the kitchen, providing the ideal place to start the day.
Should you wish to relax inside, there is a 32" LCD TV with SKY. For additional film watching, a DVD player, and a range of DVDs are provided. The DVD player has a USB port should you wish to bring your own films.
The master bedroom is furnished with a wrought iron double bed and has spectacular views through the 2 patio doors. A further 2 twin rooms, and a second lounge that has been converted into a twin bed through the use of screens, means that all guests sleep in proper beds with their own wardrobes. The downstairs twin bedroom and converted lounge each have patio doors onto the downstairs patio. There are 2 full bathrooms (including showers over the baths).

Upstairs the wide balcony looks out over the spectacular view, offering a 180 degree vista of the sea and the island of Fuerteventura, and over looks the superb private pool. It also provides plenty of space for outdoor eating and sun bathing. Beautiful rattan dining tables and chairs allow for comfortable outdoor eating beneath the two awnings for plenty of shade. There are 8 loungers for catching the perfect tan.
The electrically heated pool is large (8m x 4m) and perfect for swimming all year round. Roman steps with a hand rail down into the pool offer easy access. There is a wide shelf in the shallow end for young children (not toddlers). We had a line of blue tiles put in along the edge of the step so you can clearly see where it ends and the water gets deeper.
Downstairs there is a large, 100% private patio. It is perfect for private sunbathing, as well as outdoor eating, should you prefer it to the balcony.

Car hire can be arranged and is recommended.
Beach towel hire - with airline weight restrictions getting tighter, why not hire beach towels and save on bringing your own.
Add a midweek bath towel change and bathroom clean.
Cyclists are welcome. Should you wish to hire bikes, or go on an arranged excursion, we can organise this for you.
Fishing, sailing or other excursions can be arranged.
Further notes - The house is semi-detached with a very high wall between the two houses. We ask that you smoke outside. There might be some differences from the photos as things wear out and need to be replaced.
Conditions
Please email us or call us (details below) to enquire regarding booking. A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm all bookings. The balance is payable 6 weeks before the start of the booking. If booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the booking, payment in full is required to confirm the booking. Always check availability before sending any money.
There is a £20 breakage insurance covering up to £300 in damages.
We do not accept date changes within 3 months of the start of the holiday. For holidays starting after that, we charge £250 to change your dates.
The Lanzarote region
Situated off the Moroccan coast, Lanzarote enjoys year round sun. With summer temperatures of 27 °C - 35 °C, and winter daytime temperatures of 20 °C - 25 °C, it is perfect for summer and winter holidays. The glorious beaches more than live up to the weather. Add to this the volcanic landscape, Moroccan style architecture and good food, and you have a pretty perfect holiday destination.
Chief attraction is the volcanic "Timanfaya National Park".
Close by are the winelands of La Geria. A drive through the area is well worth it, with the unusual way the locals grow their grapes altering the landscape quite beautifully. The wine is worth exploring as well.
Further attractions on the Island include: Jameos Del Agua, Mirador Del Rio, El Golfo's Green Lagoon, Rancho Texas, Guinate's Tropical Park, Las Salinas, the golf courses at Costa Teguise and Tias

The Playa Blanca area
The villa is located in an ideal location give easy access to the beaches and sea front promenade.
Playa Blanca is a pleasant 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Also taxis and buses are both inexpensive and abundant.
In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has still retained a great deal of its original character.
A promenade runs along the sea front and is lined with bars, restaurants and shops.
The amazing Papagayo beaches are only a 10 minute drive away, the beaches are famous throughout Spain for their unspoilt location, golden sands and aquamarine clear waters.
The unspoilt Canarian villages of Las Brenas, Yaiza, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfya and the winelands of La Geria.
The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is the departing point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, Los Lobos and those beautiful beaches of Papagayo.

Many airlines now fly to Arrecife from all over the UK and Europe. With a flight of only four hours from the UK, it is not long to enjoy some glorious sun, esp. in winter. As car hire is not essential, but is recommended if you wish to explore the island and Playa Blanca further. We can help arrange that for you, meaning one less hassle for you.

We have a fantastic holiday - thank you. Loved the pool - the kids hardly got out of it when we were home. The awnings made a great place to sit in the shade and eat. View was all they said it would be. Beach was so convenient. Thought the local restaurants would be poor, but there was a good range of good food in a great location. Beautiful bar right next the sea. Villa had everything we needed, and then some. Next time we will hire a car, like recommended, so we can explore the island further. Definitely planning on returning to stay here. Thank you! |
