The patio furniture includes teak table and six chairs. And for sunbathing, four adjustable sun beds with distinctive comfort covers.

Just around the corner is the large communal pool which has a shallow, divided section for children.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is renowned for its year round sunny climate and is as popular in the Winter as it is in the Summer. If it's lazy days in the sun you are looking for, this is the ideal place.

There are many places to visit on the island and for this reason it is recommended that visitors rent a car for their stay. It also makes economic sense, by hiring a car you save the return taxi fare to and from the airport to villa and back. Roads are good and directions are clear.

You should certainly visit Montana del Fuego in the Timanfaya National Park as this best displays the geological history of the Island, and don't forget the Sunday morning market in Teguise, but there are too many places to list here. You will be given a road map if you hire a car and this will give you full information on places to visit.

Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca, at the southern-most tip of Lanzarote, is fast becoming one of the island's finest tourist areas. Almost always basked in warm sunshine and with the sea a constant calm clear blue, Playa Blanca ia a holidaymaker's paradise. The beaches are small, but perfectly formed and benefit from excellent nearby amenities with shops , bars and restuarants. The nearest beach to our villa is Playa Flamingo (1km) and this has good facilities. In addition to beaches there is a lovely paved coastal path starting from the nearby lighthouse and, after passing along Playa Blanca's promenade, ends at the new Rubicon Marina.

"Lovely and quiet-so relaxing!"

I have been staying at this villa nearly every year for the past 8 years. It is comfortably appointed and impeccably clean. Booking is very efficient and the owners will respond very quickly to any queries you may have, often making recommendations for restaurants etc. Because this is primarily a residents site it is very quiet both during the day and at night. It is not unusual to have the pool to yourself and to have more than 4 people around it, would be the exception. The garden and patio are completly enclosed making this a very safe place for children to play.
I would advise anyone to stay here but you would almost certainly need a car. I have found Autoreisen to be one of the cheapest and you can book on-line and collect and drop at the airport. I often am upgraded because I have used them frequently.
