About the home

New modern 3 bedroom villa sleeping 6/8 people, in its own fully enclosed with screened wrought iron fencing. The spacious grounds include a private solar heated pool, stunning mountain views yet only a 12-15 minute walk or 2 minute drive to either the fabulous Dorada beach, Playa Blanca town centre or the Rubicon marina.
The villa is ideal for families and adult groups, it is beautifully furnished, with private car parking, a huge terrace, beautiful solar heated pool with Romanesque style steps, outside shower and picon garden area with impressive Canarian style built in BBQ, cactus and palm trees. Travel cot and high chair available free of charge. Within walking distance or only a few minutes drive from the Playa Blanca beaches and centre which offers a fabulous variety of restaurants, shops, and other local amenities.

The stylish master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and large fitted double wardrobe and drawers. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are both twin bedded also with large fitted double wardrobe and drawers.
There is also a double sofa bed in the spacious dining room.

The en-suite bathroom overlooks the pool and is finished in black granite and mosaic and offers a bath, toilet and twin vanity basins. The family bathroom is beautifully finished in marble and mosaic and has a walk in shower, toilet and large sink.

There is a modern fitted kitchen, fully equipped with dish washer,microwave, large fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, iron and board . There is welcome pack provided with holiday information plus tea, coffee, milk, wine, water and fruit juice.

There is a separate outdoor solarium/utility room with automatic washing machine and drying facilities.
There is a large lounge area with two double leather sofas, furnished to a high standard with triple patio doors leading to the terrace. The lounge also has a 32" flat screen TV with satellite channels plus DVD player and a music stereo.

There is large dining room off the kitchen with patio doors looking on to pool/terrace, with a large beech table to seat up to 8 people. There is also a comfortable double bed sofa - would make an ideal fourth bedroom to accommodate a further two people.

All bed linen & towels are provided. The villa is cleaned weekly and towels and bedlinen are changed weekly. The villa is airy and spacious. Fans are provided in each bedroom for additional comfort. Pool inflatables and beach toys are available for use. Also included are a high chair and cot, making the villa perfect for families. A welcome pack is provided with wine, fruit juice, milk, tea, coffee, water etc

Further details outdoors:
The villa is set in its own spacious private grounds with stunning views of the Femes mountains and with its south facing aspect is perfectly positioned for sunshine from dawn until dusk. There are cushioned sun loungers and chairs plus an outdoor dining table and six chairs for alfresco dining. The beautiful large private solar heated pool measures 8m x 4m with romanesque style steps. There is an outside shower and a lovely picon garden area with BBQ, cactus and palm trees. There is a volcanic wall with wrought iron railings surrounding the property to ensure privacy. The patio is well sheltered on windy days, and there is a large pergola offering shade for those that need it. There is private off road car parking for 2 cars.

Changeover day
7, 10, 11 or 14 night durations available and priced (for other durations please ask). Villa is normally available from 2pm on arrival, vacated by 10am on departure day, although if there are other guests departing/arriving on the day we can be flexible.

The Lanzarote region

The island of Lanzarote is less than four hours flying from the UK. It lies 70 miles off the west coast of Africa. As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is volcanic in origin and has fantastic and dramatic landscapes. Playa Blanca is the most southerly resort on Lanzarote and is perfect for those who are looking for year round sun, sea and sand.
Once a small fishing village with a natural harbour, it has now developed into a beautiful resort which has retained its original charm and relaxed atmosphere. From Playa Blanca's seafront there are spectacular views of Fuerteventura, which is a mere 11km by ferry with ferries crossing over to the island several times a day from the main harbour. For scuba diving first timers or experienced PADI divers we commend Rubicon Diving, with great facilities and very helpful and qualified staff. For golfers, there is an 18 hole course on the island at Costa Teguise and one currently commencing construction in Playa Blanca. The small fishing villa of El Golfo with its spectacular waves and landscape is just a short drive away. The fish restaurants here are a must and you are welcomed in to the kitchens to select your catch of the day.
Elsewhere, the islands have a fascinating national park, a water park, camel rides and many works to celebrate the work of one of its famous sons, Cesar Manrique, who was a native of the island. All in all, there are many fabulous day trips in Lanzarote.

The Playa Blanca / Costa Papagayo area

There are two beautiful golden sandy beach with excellent facilities, including a bar/restaurant at Playa Flamingo and Playa Dorada. Dorada is the nearest beach and is as a 2 min drive or a 12-15 min stroll from the villa. The beautiful Papagayo beaches (minimal facilities) are a 10-15 min drive away.The Playa Blanca sea front has a variety of beautiful beaches, notably Playa Dorada, Papagayo (widely held to be some of the best beaches in the Canaries) and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has a relaxed atmosphere suitable for both couples and families alike.
There are a large variety of restaurants with excellent quality and very reasonable prices. When you stay at Villa Emilianya we will send you our very own guide to the best restaurants. Playa Blanca has a wonderfully relaxing promenade to amble along and enjoy the atmosphere, observe the beaches, restaurants and shops and which leads to the vibrant and exclusive Marina. A good selection of banks are open Mon-Fri from 8.30 - 2.00pm and Sat 8.30 - 1.00pm.
The magnificent Marina Rubicon is just a few minutes by car. It has been built in the style a traditional Lanzarote village with its own church. Within the 450 berth Marina are designer shops, a scuba and sailing school and a growing variety of restaurants and coffee bars, with the market days on Wednesday and Saturday well worth a visit.

“Lovely villa clean, quiet, with garden and heated pool” The villa was very clean and tidy on arrival with a useful welcome pack. It was cleaned half way through our holiday with fresh linen provided. The rooms were a good size making living comfortable. The information provided by the owner was excellent, including recommended restaurants. The pool was also a good size so you can swim properly if you want the exercise. Even at the end of January it was warm enough to swim every day. The garden enhances the ambiance and was made more interesting with the birds that visited. Shops and beach 15mins walk away. The restaurants at Playa Blanca are about 20 mins away. The description of the property on the website is accurate. We would definitely go again.
