About the home

Villa Elizabeth is situated in a peaceful residential area, with an open aspect to the rear, and views down towards the S ea.The villa is a 5 minute drive into town.. Within a 2 minute walk you will find 4 bars, with some serving all day food, Supermarkets, a Bakery, and two excellent restaurants.

The villa is in an exclusive development of privately owned villas, is in a tranquil area, and is a great place for couples and Families alike.

Large lounge, with picture window overlooking the pool area, and french doors leading to a Pergola and Terrace.We have a flat screen TV, with all your favourite main channels,including , BBC and ITV, a DVD Player and CD/tuner with I-pod docking.There is also a large selection of CDs, DVDs and books for your enjoyment.

Bedrooms.
On the lower floor, there are 2 double size bedrooms with 2 single beds in each. Marble floors with large wardrobes and views out towards the pool.

The upstairs Master Bedroom, accessed by the marble staircase, has a large en-suite, dressing area, and French doors leading to the very private sun terrace, with 2 sunbeds. The view from upstairs is amazing, where you have panoramic views of the Sea, Fuerteventura and Los Lobos,and view great Sunsets. There is also a secure safe..

Bathrooms
There are 2 large luxury bathrooms, one downstairs family bathroom, and the upstairs en-suite.Both with marble throughout, baths, showers and marble vanity units.

Kitchen
Fully equipped, with oak units and granite worktops.With oven, hob dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster etc..

Utility room
Washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Villa Elizabeth is placed on a large plot, with an open aspect to the rear, with views down towards the sea.
There is a Private Pool, heated in the winter months, with Roman steps, and a 6 man Jacuzzi ( optional).
The Pool is surrounded by a large tiled area, with 6 sunbeds.
There is a covered alfresco dining area, really cozy at night, with an all important Bar- B-Q.
A pergola is situated outside the lounge, with views of the pool.
Off the master bedroom, is a sun terrace with 2 sunbeds, small table and chairs, and great views, particularly of the Sunset, Panoramic views of the Sea, Fuerteventura and Los Lobos.. We also hire out 2 bikes at £35 each per week

The Lanzarote region

With Lanzarote being only 100km from the African coast, you can be sure of good weather all year round, with temperatures ranging from about 20-30 degrees centigrade.
As with other islands in the Canaries, Lanzarote is volcanic in origin, with the last eruptions in the 18th and 19th centuries, which can be clearly seen throughout the Island.

The artist, Cezar Manrique was a major influence on Lanzarote, not just in his art, which you will see everywhere, but also in persuading the Government that there should be no high rise buildings, which makes Lanzarote more pleasing to the eye, unlike other Canarian Islands.

There is much to see and do whilst you are in Lanzarote, some of our favourite places include the Cactus garden, Jameous del Aqua, Lag-O-mar, Teguise market, Famara and Puerto Calero to name just a few.

The Playa Blanca / Faro Park area

Playa Blanca is our favourite town in Lanzarote, hence why we bought the villa here, and also live here!.There are some wonderful beaches, safe and with loads of activities to enjoy.There is also the world famous Papagayo beaches, totally non-commercial, and the best on the island.
There are many bars and restaurants in the town, too many perhaps to try them all, but give it a go all the same!
Running parallel to the sea front prom,there is a pedestrianized area, again with many shops and restaurants.
Just along the coast from the town, you will find the Marina Rubican. as well as many moored yachts there, you will find designer shops, bars and restaurants, and also a market on Wednesday and Saturday.
There is now a brand new Water Park, and only 5 minutes drive away from the Villa, brilliant for all the Family.

There are many places to hire cars and bikes, as well as companies who do Island excursions.In Las Coloradas you can hire Segways for a few hours fun.
You can also have lessons in Diving, Sailing and even free Zumba for Villa guests! .

Flights from the UK take 3.5 - 4 hours. The villa is approx 30 minutes drive from the airport, either by hire car, taxi, or we can arrange transfer for you.
In Playa Blanca, there is an excellent bus service (number 30), which for 1 Euro 30, will take you anywhere in the town, including stopping near the villa.

“Perfect Villa and great hosts” We stayed here in July with our 2 teenagers. The villa was spotless and as we arrived after 9pm it was lovely to find the lights on and and mike and Ann waiting to show us round and had a chilled bottle of bubbly and welcome pack. The pool was clean and clear every day and due to the location it was so peaceful. Local shops just a couple of minuites walk and the villa is really well equipped. Would we come back? In a flash! Thank you so much for helping us to have a brilliant holiday x

“Homesick and it was holiday!!!” Well what can we say....from the very start of our holiday until our goodbyes the hospitality of Mike and Ann was first class. We felt so looked after which was more than welcomed on our first visit to the island. Little touches such as the bubbly reception on arrival personalised bottle of wine and personalised cd made us feel very relaxed and special. We booked the villa directly the contact and information provided was second to none and we had to change our date to which Mike and Ann could not have been more accomodating which was a great relief, most certainly wouldnt get this from a travel agent!! We would go back if only to visit Mike and Ann! The villa itself is fantastic infact we didn't want to leave. Very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean we called it our home from home. The pool was great and more than welcomed on those hot days and the jacuzzi was a firm favourite especially for myself who arrived on crutches anyone going with aches and pains book this villa and get in the jacuzzi! The villa is conveniently positioned just a 5 min stroll to the local shops where you will find 2 supermarkets, a lovely bakery which does a great breakfast and patissieris, an italian, the port of call restaurant and our fave was The Lighthouse were they do a sunday carvery which is highly recommended however also popular so pre book your table! The fillet steak best wev'e had for a long time. Also at the end of the shops is the bus stop where you can catch the number 30 Playa Blanca and get into town for 1 euro 30cents. Excellent service the bus runs evey half hour 20 past and 10 to and always bang on time. The journey itself takes about 10 min. The town of Playa blanca has all you could need from supermarkets to the usual holidays souvenirs. At the promenade which is well worth a walk there are some great restaurants all the way along and different beaches. If you enjoy indian there is Fazz'z and afterwards enjoy the Manea Bar underneath where you can relax on the sofas, beds and enjoy some great cocktails overlooking the sea well worth a night out here! I can't really say there is anything we liked least. The whole resort was great. The view in the villa from the balcony off the master bedroom was favourtite of mine at night. So quiet, great to sit with a drink and listen to the sea, watch the lighthouse and we even saw some shooting stars. We had a Fantastic holiday and would have no hesitation in returning I just hope we will be able to get booked after this review.

“What an introduction to the Canary Islands” Have to say a massive thanks to Mike and Anne for making our first stay in Lanzarote a very memorable. A wonderful reception from them on arrival. The villa is perfect for our rather large family in beautiful surroundings very close to the promenade in Playa Blanca. The good thing is you feel like you're miles away from everything in the villa but you're not. Local amenities are a stones throw away and Playa Blanca town is a ten minute bus ride. Our first time in Lanzarote as I've said but I will certainly be contacting Mike and Anne when we decide to go again. Thanks again guys for a wonderful holiday :-)

“Wounderful Villa” My wife and I were delighted with villa, and in particular the welcome Mike and Ann provided on our arrival. They set the scene for one of the best holidays we have had. All the accommodation provided was first class. The location suited us perfectly, quite but with easy access to everything we required.

“A Great Time Had By All” The Villa that we were in was well above expectations. A welcomming greeting awaited us from the owners. We have been to lanzarote a few time in the last few years and we always have a good time, the weather is around 22-24 c but it can get a little windy at times. Player Blanca is a beautiful resort and there are a many good restaurants that are worth visiting. There are lots of shops where you can buy all those little things that you don't wont to buy, but there are plenty of good shops for the things you do want and need. The island has lots of places to explore if you are willing to be adventurous. Or you can just lay back and relax in peace and quiet by the pool.

“fantastic villa” Have been at lots of villas in the area this was one of the best the welcome on arrival was a lovely touch .......Great location shops and small bars within walking distance fab bakery selling freshly baked breads cakes etc graet italian restaurant and good pud grub great walks along the sea front . standard of the villa was outsatnding wifi and sky tv which was a bonus for the kids great BQ area for the evening . photographs from the web dont show the villa for what it is you wont be disapointed . NOT SURE IF I WANT TO PUT A REVIEW ON WILL JUST KEEP IT FOR MYSELF LOL

“Wonderful Retreat” Spent a wonderful week at Villa elizabeth with two friends in March this year. Very impressed with large spacious rooms and cleanliness of Villa. “An excellent fun family holiday, ideal for all” This villa was better than we had hoped, a very clean and spacious villa in a fantastic location with amazing views from all directions. The upstairs bedroom was beautiful, a real treat with a large veranda, great suntrap and great views out to sea even better in the evening with a glass of local red wine. Found lovely beaches and bays, ideal for the kiddies of all ages with clean soft sand and gentle waves to jump over. Another plus was the local bakery, 2 minute walk from the villa, great fresh bread, croissant, even prepared picnics on request, and highly recommended are the birthday cakes, tried and tested, so nice we are going back again.
