About the home

Stunning 2 bedroom villa of 4 villas located only 300 meters from the fantastic Marina Rubicon Harbour, restaurants and shopping centre.

It consists of 2 floors,one being the ground floor, a large living and dining room for 4 people, with beautiful views of the terrace.The villa comes totally equipped, the living room as satellite TV, and DVD player.
The kitchen opens to the living room,fully equipped with ceramic cooker, microwave, oven, double fridge, toaster ,coffee maker, kettle and a complete range of kitchen utensils. Next to the kitchen,there is a utilities room with washing machine, clothesline, iron and ironing board.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, both with bathrooms on suite, air conditioning/ heated and a built in wardrobe. In addition, the two bedrooms share a balcony-terrace with direct access from each bedroom and enjoy the fantastic views of the harbour.

The spacious terrace comes with garden area and large solarium, built in BBQ, terrace furniture, individual sun beds, and a private pool, with a cleaning system, totally ecological.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is situated at 29º00' north, 13º40' west. It is located 11km north-east of Fuerteventura and 1 km from Graciosa. The dimensions of the island are 60km from north to south and 25km from west to east. Lanzarote has 213 km of coastline, of which 10km are sand,16.5km are beach, and the remainder are rocky. Its dramatic landscape includes the mountain ranges of Famara (671m) in the north and Ajaches (608m) to the south. South of the Famara massif is the El Jable desert which separates Famara and Montañas del Fuego.

The mountainous area of Lanzarote is called Timanfaya National Park. The tallest mountain is Peñas del Chache elevating 670m above sea level. The "Tunnel of Atlantis" is the largest submerged volcanic tunnel in the world. The island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve protected site

The Playa Blanca / Playa Blanca Yaiza area

Playa Blanca, meaning " White Beach" is the southernmost town of the Spanish island of Lanzarote. It is the newest, yet fastest growing resort on the Island. Approximately a forty minutes drive (32km) from the airport, it has its own school, notary, the bustling Rubicon Marina (with its twice-weekly market), harbour with ferries to Fuerteventura. The coastline around Playa Blanca is essentially one large 9 kilometre wide bay which is then broken up into three smaller, but still large, bays. This basic geography means that the beaches in and around Playa Blanca are sheltered and ideal for swimming and sunbathing.

Marina Rubicon is situated about 25 minute promenade walk from the town itself. It is a new and seriously stylish Marina, with a wide range of interesting shops, bars and restaurants.
In the centre of the town is a very pleasant small beach that is very convenient and well supported by amenities.
A few minutes walk to the west of the town along the sea-front walkway, is the Playa Flamingo beach.
Playa Dorada is literally translated as The Golden Beach and this is certainly an accurate description with its warm honey coloured sand.
