Home description
The upstairs bedroom has two single beds and a range of built in wardrobes. The kitchen area has a full oven and a four ring ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, sandwich maker and a good range of pots and plates etc. A selection of DVDs and books are supplied.
The bathroom has a toilet, bath, shower, washhand basin set in a marble top with a large mirror and cupboard area beneath, the bathroom is half tiled in marble.
The private pool has a large sun terrace with plenty of space for the sun loungers, towels are provided for use at the pool. Also the pool area has a high wall around it making it private for an all over tan.
The villa is in a quiet residential setting with the sea front being just 200m away where you can sit and relax on the rocks and watch the sun go down.
No maid service but you will receive fresh bed linen weekly and a mid-week towel change.
Although you will manage fine without a car I like to recommend one for exploring the island.
We have a local bus service which will take you into the town centre, the buses run at intervals of every half hour. The bus stop is about 1 minutes walk from the villa and the fare is just over 1 euro.
An airport collection and return service can be arranged if required (at an extra fee)
Tara 2 is attached to the main villa with a dividing wall for your privacy.
Shops/Bars/Restaurants are within walking distance.

The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.
The weather conditions are almost always favourable for doing a bit of exploring. Note the word 'almost'. As with any place in the world, the weather is not something which can be guaranteed. For a while, in August and September, it can get very hot, whilst during the winter it can be cool and cloudy with spells of heavy rain (but, rest assured, this is the exception rather than the rule). The average weather that one can expect is ideal - around 17° C during the winter months and 25° C in August with sunshine on most days throughout the year.
Lanzarote plays host to some of the Canaries' best beaches. Puerto del Carmen boasts a 6km stretch of fine coastline with golden sands and quieter beaches can be found at Playa de los Pocillos and Matagorda. Whether you want to relax on soft sands and soak up the sun or enjoy some superb watersports, Lanzarote is perfect.
Playa Blanca / Faro Park area
Playa Blanca is the southern-most resort on Lanzarote and is ideal for those who are hoping for sun, sea and sand. It also benefits from a selection of excellent fish restaurants, which often serve fish caught earlier in the day. Fuerteventura is visible from the Playa Blanca seafront. It is a mere 11km by ferry, with crossings to the island taking place several times a day from the main harbour.
The seafront has a variety of beaches, the most notable of which are the Playa Dorada, Papagayo (popularly considered to be among the island's best), and Playa Flamingo. Playa Blanca has is relaxed in atmosphere in comparison with the more upbeat nightlife in Puerto del Carmen. Dine in one of the restaurants on the seafront and enjoy a spectacular sea view - idea for families and couples alike.
How to get there
Fly to Arrecife airport in Lanzarote. This usually takes around 3.5 to 4 hours from the U.K. Tara is about a 30 minute drive from the airport. There are lots of car hire companies at the airport. Taxies are easy to find just outside the main airport doors.
