This lovely villa is located on a residential development of new villas on the outskirts of Playa Blanca town centre. The resort centre is approximately a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the villa to the nearest beach. There is a local supermarket just a 5 minute walk from the villa.
In recent years Playa Blanca has grown from a traditional Canarian fishing village into a fashionable tourist resort and has retained a great deal of its original character. The beautiful Papagayo beaches are only a 10 minute drive away and are famous throughout Spain for their unspoilt location, golden sands and aquamarine, clear waters.
The unspoilt Canarian villages of Las Brenas, El Golfo and Femes are only a short drive away, as is the volcanic national park of Timanfya.
The master bedroom and dining room have walk out terrace doors onto the pool and the lovely garden. All of the bedrooms are accessed by the interior, open air central courtyard. Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with very large bath. The terrace doors lead out to the terrace. En-suite bath is very spacious and has a bidet, glassed in shower and double sinks.
Bright, spacious living room feels lovely after a hard day relaxing by the pool! Leather sofas and large leather chair help to make this room feel cozy and comfortable. The apex ceiling also lends to the feeling of spaciousness.
The dining room has terrace doors leading straight out to the BBQ and pool area. The Satellite television, internet connection, compact stereo and DVD player are all located in the living room for your enjoyment.
All bath towels and linen are provided. There is a weekly maid service in which we change all the linen and towels and give a clean of the property. There is also a towel change in the middle of the week. Other services are available on request. New beach towels now also provided.

The utility room leads off from the kitchen with a washing machine and drying area.
Another large bathroom has a double walk-in shower and double sinks.
The third smaller bathroom has a shower and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and built-in dishwasher. It also has rotating cupboards and good quality crockery throughout.
Portable heaters are in the villa as well as ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms and an additional portable fan for the living area.

Enjoy established palm trees and other lush plant life in our garden. A terrace set of wooden table and chairs and umbrella makes for a welcome alternative to eating indoors. The large pool, with roman steps is 6 by 3 meters. 8 fabric based lounge chairs are easily placed to where you are most likely to enjoy the sun.

The changeover day for the villa is flexible.
If the booking is made within 6 weeks of arrival, the full balance needs to be paid at the time of booking. Otherwise, a 40% deposit is required at the time of booking.
The Lanzarote region
Whether specialized excursions such as photography walking routes, or a personal chef for a day is required or simply desired, we can find it for you. Just ask. We love to think that we have the ideal climate always....though the reality is that it can get cool in some of the winter evenings. We have several heaters for your use as well as Fans for when it gets too hot.
The Volcanic mountains can be seen from the villa on one side and the ocean on the other side.
The Playa Blanca / Parque del Rey area
The pretty harbour of Playa Blanca is the departure point for many excursions including trips to the neighbouring islands of Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. A water taxi is also available to take people to Papagayo beaches.
The recently opened Puerto Rubicon Marina is a ten minute drive from the villa and is the location of many exclusive boutiques, bars and restaurants. Several excursions, including a catamaran trip depart from the Marina. Playa Blanca is approximately a 40 minute transfer from the airport. We have a helpful book in the villa which outlines interesting places to go as well as specific clues and tips .
Two days a week there is a local market which is fun to visit and buy gifts. This residential area is very peaceful and friendly. We have additional fencing around the property to enhance privacy. The locals love to have fiestas! We keep as much local up to date information in the villa as possible, and our guestbook gives great ideas to following visitors.

A car is recommended but is not considered essential for this accommodation. The Arrecife airport is about a half hour drive to Playa Blanca and taxis are available at the airport.

We had wanted to stay here previously as this was our third villa holiday in Playa Blanca but it was booked up early. We both very much liked the look of the villa from the advert and were not disappointed. On arrival we looked around and thought it looked like a house out of MTV cribs, huge on-suite from the master bedroom with another two separate bathrooms for the other bedrooms which comes off the internal courtyard (which is a nice feature).
All the rooms are large and spacious and the internal courtyard gives a degree of separation to each part which means that larger groups wouldn't feel on top of each other all the time. The living room is nice to relax in with big wall mounted flat screen TV. Kitchen is open and very functional. The dining room has a long banquet table which is very pleasant to eat at, a good party could be had here alright!
The living room was comfy with two three seater couches and a big armchair, plenty Sky channels to entertain yourselves for a while if needed. The wifi connection was good, I used it a lot to keep up to speed with work emails (self-employed so very necessary), also the speed was good as I uploaded holiday videos for relatives to see. Plenty portable & ceiling fans available to keep the temp down for those like me who feel the heat at night.
Our favourite part is the considerable front garden with pool, big Jacuzzi, BBQ, sun loungers and eating area. We spent most of the day out here, nobody overlooking us, lots of room and gets the sun all day. The villa sits on the far N.E. corner of the cul-de-sac (map on web site is wrong), and therefore has considerably more room that the other villas. Easily the nicest property in the street (possibly area).
The walk into town is about 10-15min (depending on your walking pace) but is mostly downhill so never a problem. We walked this every day for a fortnight and it was enjoyable, but always got a taxi back as there are plenty in town and the cost is about €3. Restaurants are great in the town, enough for a different one each lunch or dinner.
If you want a relaxing holiday at a faultless property with all the mod cons and tons of room, close to a lovely quaint town with nice bars/restaurants then this is the place for you. It will take something particularly good to tempt us away from returning next year!
