About the home

The property comprises a twin bedroom, bathroom (5 piece), lounge/dining, kitchen and private patio with outside furniture. The villa is furnished to a high standard with all your needs covered for a self catering holiday.
This is the ideal place for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The property is south facing and enjoys sunshine all year round. With its close proximity to the beach and town, it is ideal for those wishing to escape from it all whilst being near enough to be able to walk everywhere.

The complex has a games room and table tennis. This property does sleep a maximum of 4 but at times we reserve the right to limit this to 2. This will be made clear at the time of booking. Smoking outside is fully acceptable and is allowed in some properties.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote has a unique climate which hardly varies all year round. It has been created by the volcanic activity of years past. The area known as 'Fire mountain' is where the lunar qualities of the land are most prevalent and, due to its ecological status, is now a national park. Episodes of Doctor Who have been filmed here!
The park is unrivalled in its many colours and tranquillity. There are breathtaking views on the island which have been enhanced by the work of the famous architect Cesar Manrique who insisted on the the strict planning laws on the island, ensuring that only low rise buildings were maintained.
There is much sightseeing to do, including visiting the house of the architect which is stunning.

The Playa Blanca / Las Brisas, Lanzarote area

Playa Blanca is situated at the southernmost tip of the island and therefore enjoys the most hours of sunshine.Development has been carefully planned here so that Playa Blanca retains its original village charm and character. The village boasts a small harbour which has ferries going to and from the island of Fuerteventura as well as a new marina which serves the large and not so large pleasure yachts. The local fishermen still land their catch each day and supply many of the local restaurants.
Nearby are the stunning natural yellow sand beaches of Papagayo. These are accessible by car or by glass bottomed boat from the small harbour near to Las Brisas. These boats can also show you the abundant marine life which surround the island's waters.
In addition, Playa Blanca itself boasts three beaches, all within a short walking distance, which have a number of available watersports.
Playa Blanca has a many beautiful shops, restaurants and bars as well as banking and supermarket facilities.
In addition, there are more playground facilities for children along with bicycle hire which many of our guests have highly recommended.
There are many fiestas which run throughout the year, including mardi gras in Feb/Mar (depending on Easter) and the village day in July.
Nightlife, though a little limited in Playa Blanca, is available in Puerto del Carmen - 25 mins away.

Flights go from most UK airports including scheduled services by Easyjet, Ryanair and Monarch.
Also from Gatwick Aer Lingus and Viking Air. We can do car hire for you from £127 per week, fully inclusive, with our local agent Cabrera medina who have an office at the airport as well as in Playa Blanca. A prebookable taxi service is also available.
Car hire is not essential although useful for exploring the island.

“Great resort- pity about the bed bugs” Really enjoyed our stay here- resort has good facilities (heated pool), staff were helpful and the apartments were spacios and well equipped. The only point for complaint were the bed bugs!
