Parque del Rey is a quiet and peaceful residential area just a leisurely 15 mins stroll to the wonderful beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops of the stylish resort, so a hire car isn't necessary. Located on a favoured plot with open views to the rear, the villa is the perfect base for your holiday in the sun. The villa has been designed with many outstanding features and the owners have spared no expense in ensuring you have everything at hand. The quality of the furnishings and equipment is quite exceptional as you can see. Features include:

Playa Blanca's Many Restaurants

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote, perhaps the most unusual of the Canary Islands, lies approximately 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and 1100 Km south west of the Spanish peninsula. This position ensures year round high temperatures, more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain than the other islands. Summer temperatures can be in the 90's although these are always tempered by cooling breezes - ideal for sunbathing and sport during the day and comfortable in the evenings for relaxing over a leisurely meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.

Only about 45Km long and around 18Km at its widest point, the island is famous for its dramatic lunar landscape of almost 300 volcanoes. Views of volcanic mountains, picon covered fields and rocky coastlines are broken up by a large number of beautiful golden sandy beaches and an amazing amount of well attended greenery and agriculture.

The Playa Blanca / Parque del Rey area

The villa is located just a short 15 minute stroll from the beach and centre of Playa Blanca. The resort is situated on the south coast of the island and has the best of the weather and sunshine. It has been tastefully developed and has spectacular beaches, in particular the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo.

It has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a short stroll away. Playa Blanca also has a stunning new marina with shops, cafes and restaurants. All in all, a magnificent place to have the holiday you've dreamt of!
