Parque del Rey is a quiet and peaceful residential area just a leisurely 15 mins stroll to the wonderful beaches, cafes, restaurants and shops of the stylish resort, so a hire car isn't necessary. Villa Ahlmatel is the perfect base for your family holiday. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Patio doors lead from the dining room onto extensive and secluded south-facing terraces and private pool (8m x 4m) which is electrically heated for year-round warmth. Six sun-loungers, table and chairs and BBQ for alfresco dining. Satellite TV with Movies and Sports, DVD Player with a selection of DVDs and HiFi. There is a selection of toys, books and games to amuse the young ones. Four bedrooms, master having very large en-suite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath.

The Lanzarote region
Lanzarote, just 70 miles from the African Coast is an island full of surprises. With volcanic lunar landscapes and just one high rise building, it also boasts a multitude of attractions - Timanfaya National Park, La Cueva de los Verdes (Green Caves), 18 hole Golf Course and Water Park at Costa Teguise, sculptures of Cesar Manrique, go shopping at the Sunday morning market in Teguise or simply enjoy the various spectacular beaches. There is something in Lanzarote to suit everyone.
Playa Blanca / Parque del Rey area
Playa Blanca is a clean, quiet haven located on the Southern most point of Lanzarote. There are four separate golden beaches in Playa Blanca and at least a further eight beaches collectively known as Playas de Papagayo. Papagayo is located on the East side of Playa Blanca near the new 5 star Marina complex and is widely known as the finest collection of beaches in the whole of Spain.

How to get there
Fly to Arrecife - Villa Ahlmatel is approximately 30 - 35 minutes from the airport. Cheap flights are available from airflights.co.uk or go to Google and type in 'cheap flights'. Car hire is available from many companies, we use www.anthon.com , they have always been very reliable. Buses run regularly between the airport and Playa Blanca. A taxi from the airport costs no more than forty Euro. Local taxis from Playa Blanca centre to the villa cost around three euros.

Further details indoors: The interior of the villa is very spacious, light and airy. It has been carefully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is a weekly maid service and a mid week towel change. Villa Ahlmatel is a 15 minute easy stroll away from the picturesque centre of Playa Blanca and the beautiful Flamingo Beach.
Further details outdoors: Patio doors lead from the dining room onto a secluded south facing terrace and swimming pool which is heated by solar panels in the summer months and electrically heated in the winter. There is a large terraced area where you can enjoy al fresco dining and cooking on the BBQ. Tables, chairs, sun loungers and parasol are provided with wooden pergola for further shade. We thank our guests for not smoking inside the villa, however, smoking is allowed on the terrace and poolside.
Further details
A deposit of £200 is required upon booking and balance to be paid not later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. Changeover day is usually Thursday although we can be flexible during quieter times. Vacate by 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. Available from 2 p.m. on day of arrival. Bookings are not available for hen or stag parties.
