Mas Nou is the most prestigious estate in the Costa Brava. The villa is positioned with a southerly aspect to give unbroken sunshine all day. The contemporary Mediterranean style has been created by architect Raul Ladoire. To build this villa we have had to cut away part of the mountain, the exposed rock providing an unrivalled unique feature. Finished to the highest standard with beautiful marble floors, and staircases. All the bathrooms, cloakrooms and kitchen have marble lined walls and features. On the terraces of this villa you get the feeling that you are standing on top of the world.
The HEATED swimming pool is built as an integral part of the terrace so that you can wander easily from the living and kitchen area to around the heated pool. Enjoy a long cool evening drink by the pool overlooking the simply breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. We are providing a fully stocked wine and drinks cabinet this season for your enjoyment at no extra charge.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
There is great skiing within two hours at the Spanish resorts of ValTer 2000, Masella and La Molina. Also the vast ski ranges of Andorra are only about three hours away. Even closer over the French border is a collection of Pyrenean ski villages.
It is possible to reach Barcelona in an hour and absorb the cosmopolitan chique of one of Europe’s most fashionable cities- shop to drop alongside some of Europe’s most fashionable people - where the influence of Gaudi seems to pervade on every corner. Salvador Dali was also from this area and his museum is a short drive to Figueres, or visit pretty Cadaques where he spent most of his creative years. Even the contrast in language and culture can be sampled by driving over the French border which is a little more than fifty miles north of this special location.
Some of the best sailing in Europe is off the Costa Brava, and the Medes Islands is a marine national park providing great scuba diving. There is no shortage of activity for all the family with the Costa Brava’s famous beaches and coves, a water-park, several carting tracks, cycle routes, mountain walks, butterfly park and much much more.
The Platja D'Aro / S'Agaro area
The Villa is close to the beach and the bustling town of Platja D'Aro with its designer clothes shops and fine restaurants.
Platja D’Aro is the nearest urban centre which affords all the amenities and services you could wish for, and is only a short drive of approximately five minutes.
The beach at Platja D’Aro is one of the longest sandy beaches in the area, and close by there are more isolated craggy coves. Arguably one of the most spectacular coast roads in Europe is close by between Sant Feliu de Guixols and Tossa de Mar.
There is a wonderful golf course on top of the mountain which is a very short distance from the villa. Some of the best restaurants in the region are close-by, including The Big Rock, where King Juan Carlos II has dined.

Directions From Girona airport (Vilobi D’Onyar) to Villa Monterosso Mas Nou
Leave Girona airport follow signpost for Sant Feliu de Guixols
Roundabout at Casa de la Selva turn right towards Sant Feliu de Guixols on C35.
Stay on this road until you reach signpost for Hapimag Mas Nou on right just after third signpost for Platja D'Aro, Filter left until junction. Turn left drive past Big Rock Restaurant, after 1km you will enter Mas Nou through the barrier. Drive up through the urbanisation take the third right . Road bends right then left. You will arrive at the villa on the left
