About the home

A comfortable home from home located on delightful village of PLUDUNO and only 2 kms away from the larger town of PLANCOET, very close to all the regions attractions. It is a spacous property retaining the original knights Templar stone wall in the large lounge/diner, also offering 2 double bedrooms one being en-suite and 1 twin bedroom, with and additional bathroom. There is a fully fitted and equipped modern kitchen with all the usual appliances. with French doors from the lounge/diner leading you out onto a large patio with chimney BBQ.
Located just a short drive away from some of the best beaches to be found in Brittany.

Cots and high chair are available on request at not extra charge.

All bedding is included all we ask is for you to supply your own towels. The property can accommodate up to 8 upon request.

Our parents who live close by will welcome you to the property before leaving you to enjoy your stay. We can also provide a welcome pack of provisions that includes freshly baked bread, local butter, jam, coffee and milk

If you time your visit right you may be able to feed the young lambs in the field at the rear of our property.

The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region

The river Arguenon flows in the green valley where land and see always meet. This name comes from celt " Ar Guen on" which means the white river. indeed, during the flowing tide its bed is whitened by a mysterious natural foam.

The Arguenon valley lies in a region where close to hand one can see the best of Brittany. Between land and sea, it offers you an excellent base camp from which you can explore all the Emerald coast and Brittany.

The Plancoet area

There are many ways to spend your money and have fun in Brittany these are just a few.

LESS THAN 15 MINUTES AWAY:
The Hundaudaye: the secret forest, the medieval castle and old farm
Dinan : the famous medieval city with its port, old town and castle.
Dinard: The charming 19th century seaside resort, lively all year long.
Saint Cast: A lovely coastal town with long fabulous beaches that streatch for miles with its newly completed enclosed port area.

LESS THAN 30 MINUTES AWAY:
Saints Malo: The corsaire City with a special atmosphere all of its own and a city which Jacques Cartier left to discover Canada. The walled city is a must, have a look around the many shops and while there why not stop for a spot of lunch at the many restaurants or get a toasted Baguette and eat on the beach. Visit the Second World War gun emplacements you can even take a guided tour. or why not visit Le Grand Aquarium.
Lamballe: For its museum of paintings and its riding stables(Haras)
Cape Frehel: Where its 70 metre cliffs fall toward the sea, sure to give you vertigo on stormy days.
Erquy: A typical quaint fishing port and a typical breton cape.

LESS THAN 1 HOUR AWAY:
Mont Saint Michel and its bay( that needs no introduction !!)
Rennes: the capital of Brittany.
Becherel: The city of books.
Saint Brieuc: Centre of the Armour coast and the cultural life.

KER SARAH is situated in the village of PLUDUNO in the region of COTES-D’ARMOR. To find it quickly look at St MALO just below and to the left is a town called PLANCOET here you will find PLUDUNO. Michelin map 230 Bretagne (Brittany).

It is approximately 30 minutes drive from its closest port St MALO or 2 hours drive from either CAEN or CHERBOURG. The local airport of DINARD is 20 minutes drive; flights are daily from either East Midland or STANSTED airport.

With Brittany Ferries you can travel from PORTSMOUTH to any of the following St MALO, CAEN or CHERBOURG, alternatively via POOLE to CHERBOURG. You can contact them on (08703 665 333) or online at brittany-ferries.co.uk.

Fly RYANAIR from EAST MIDLANDS or STANSTED to DINARD. The best way to book is on line at Ryanair.com, Car hire can also be arranged through them. Why not fly and pick up your hire car at DINARD airport.
