About the home

Ideally situated next to the beach, this beautiful villa has been designed and built in the contemporary Thai style. It has an oversize beach side pool with Jacuzzi and accommodation for up to six people within its three tastefully furnished air-conditioned bedrooms.

The comfortable living area is spread over two pavilions separated by attractive hard wood decking with a native Plumeria tree as its centre piece. In one pavilion, a stylish open plan lounge and formal dining area with a satellite television, DVD and CD player. To the rear of the pavilion, a fully equipped Western style kitchen, and to the side a double bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom.

A second pavilion contains two double bedrooms, the master with a romantic king size four poster and the other with large size twin beds, both have spacious en-suite bathrooms. All the bedrooms are decorated in soothing neutrals and earthy timbers, with contemporary furnishings and brightly coloured Thai art.

You can absorb some of Koh Samui's most spectacular scenery from this perfect beachfront location, with spell bounding views over the Gulf of Siam. The grassy gardens surrounding the poolside, lead you down to the sandy beach, shaded in areas by coconut palms. Although tranquil and private, the fashionable north east location is great for shopping, fine dining and popular entertainment.

After a day of relaxing around the pool experience the magnificent sunset while lounging on the sala with your favourite cocktail. Follow this with a scrumptious barbecue with family and friends.

During certain times of the year the sea recedes over 100 meters, at other times the water is shallow and not suitable for swimming. It's a short drive to one of the best swimming beaches on the island.

The Koh Samui region

When you travel around the island you will find a wealth of natural beauty and cosmopolitan luxury.

Koh Samui is small enough to drive a car around in about two hours and big enough to discover new things and beautiful places even if you stay for several weeks. While the most visited areas have roads lined with shops and businesses, much of the island remains covered with coconut groves, rice paddies and tropical forest. A sense of adventure and a bit of effort will be amply rewarded with everything from sophisticated shops and restaurants to serene hikes, jungle drives and spectacular views.

Koh Samui has an abundance of restaurants and many within a few minutes drive of the villa and at least two within walking distance.

Many kinds of retail goods from all over Thailand are available. Thai silks and handicrafts are just two examples. Visit Chaweng, Nathon and Lamai for the best retail therapy.

Night Life
Samui's nightlife is centred on Chaweng Beach Road. Here you will find many nightclubs, bars and restaurants.

Golf
The Santiburi Samui Country Club 18 hole Championship Golf Course located in the hillside on Samui's northern coast. It commands magnificent views of Maenam Beach and the island of Koh Phangan beyond.

Sights and Scenes

The Plai Laem area

Close to the fishing boat marina and set in a coconut grove this small exclusive development of recently built villas has direct access to the secluded and unspoilt sandy beach at Plai Laem on the fashionable north coast. The villa is close to the swimming beach and five star international beach hotels at Cheong Mon, the charming fisherman's village of Bophut with it's colourful Chinese shop houses, bars and restaurants lining the water's edge. The airport is a 10 minute drive and the shops, bars and vibrant nightlife of Chaweng Beach just 15 minutes.

The island of Koh Samui is located in the Gulf of Thailand on the south east coast of Thailand about 700 kilometres from the capital Bangkok. It is easily reached in just over an hour by direct flight from Bangkok and direct flights from Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Krabi, Singapore, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
