Katherine and Roger welcome you to this self-contained first-floor apartment in their lovely Victorian house.

Immaculately owner-maintained, this bright and spacious one-bedroom holiday home has beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and is conveniently located away from the bustle of the main street but within a few minutes walk of all the amenities of the town.

* 2014 RYDER CUP: We are only 7 minutes walk from Pitlochry Station & there will be special trains so book our apartment for this great sporting event. NOTE: We have kept our prices at our normal September rate for Ryder Cup week.

The main street with a wide variety of shops and restaurants is a five minute walk; a few more minutes will take you to Pitlochry's famous Festival Theatre and fish ladder along the River Tummel.

We offer those little “extra touches” that help to make your holiday special: for example for stays of 7 nights or longer a serviced wash is included at no extra charge – just give your washing to Katherine in the morning and it will be returned to you in the evening washed, dried and ironed!

In the heart of Highland Perthshire Pitlochry is the perfect base for walking, golfing, fishing, touring the picturesque surrounding area and discovering the wonderful local produce.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped including double oven with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

The bedroom has a king-size bed and plenty of clothes storage space. It also has a DAB Radio with I pod player.

For stays of 7 nights or longer one serviced wash per full week is included at no extra charge.

The Tayside/Perthshire region

In the heart of Scotland Perthshire is a beautiful and historic region with something for everyone. Towns and places to visit in Perthshire include Aberfeldy, Loch Tay and Glen Lyon, Auchterarder, Gleneagles and the Ochils, Blairgowrie and East Perthshire, Crieff, Comrie and Strathearn, Dunkeld and Birnam, Kinross-shire and Loch Leven, the Fair City of Perth, Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire, and some of the most scenic Scottish glens.

There are many miles of waymarked paths and trails offering walks for all levels of ability from gentle riverside strolls to the most challenging mountain outings.


Pitlochry has something for everyone - it is the perfect base for walking, golfing, fishing, touring the picturesque surrounding area and discovering the wonderful local produce.

Transport links are very good with regular train and bus services to Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow & Inverness in addition to the local area.

Tigh-na-Craig is situated away from the bustle of the town centre but only 5 minutes walk from the main street which has a wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants and local shops.

There is an excellent farmers market at Logierait (5 miles away) on the 3rd Saturday of the month from March to October and Perth has a big farmers market on the 1st Saturday of every month except January.


The salmon fishing season is from 1st February – 31st October.

The brown trout season is from 15th March – 6th October.

There is river fishing on the River Tay, River Tummel and River Garry. There is also boat and bank fishing on local lochs.


The summer season (from May to October) at Pitlochry Festival Theatre has a wide variety of productions including musicals, plays and operas. It also stages many different types of concerts, from Jazz and Folk to Ceilidh. During the winter months there are also plenty of things to see, with concerts at the weekends, workshops, talks and tours taking place throughout the year. It also hosts the Winter Words Festival every year in January.

Pitlochry Highland Games – takes place on the 2nd Saturday of September.

Golf courses abound in the area; notably Pitlochry Golf Club: The 18 hole par 69 course is situated at the foot of Ben-y-Vrackie Mountain and must be one of the most scenic in the region. The club also has an excellent restaurant which is open to non-members.

Other courses in the area include 9 hole courses at Strathtay and also Blair Atholl which is a classic James Braid designed course; Dunkeld & Birnam is an 18 hole par 69 course in a lovely setting;


Pitlochry is the perfect place for walkers to explore, with 41 miles of walking tracks, paths along rivers, lochs, through woodland and uphill.

"Amazing views - Fabulous apartment"

Tigh-na-Craig is a beautifully decorated and very well equipped apartment. A real home away from home with amazing views. Pitlochry is charming and well positioned for visits to many other places of interest. Katherine was welcoming and friendly on arrival and easy to deal with during the booking process. We would certainly recommend a stay at this apartment and would love to return when our travels take us back to Scotland, after this, our first visit.

"Luxurious, comfortable, spacious, clean and convenient"

This was our first stay in Scotland, and I don't think we could have picked a better place to stay than Pitlochry, or better accomodation than Tigh Na Craig. My wife and I were made extremely welcome by Katherine when we arrived who gave us some tips on local walks and places to get supplies. The apartment was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and we found it very comfortable and well thought out. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cook our own meals when we wished, the shower was excellent, and the bed very comfortable. The apartment is about a three minute walk from the main shopping street. One thing to be aware of are the spiral steps up to the front door. Assuming you can cope with these, they add character to the apartment, and I liked ascending them to our "haven" when returning from days out.
Pitlochry is just great for local walks, with the "Pitlochry Path Network", great for souvenir and present hunting, and Tigh Na Craig was a great place to stay. The next time we stay in Pitlochry, this apartment will be our first choice, and is probably the best self catering accomodation we have ever stayed at.

"Perfect Accommodation In Perfect Location"

We received a cheery friendly greeting from Katherine on arrival.
The sun was shining although I don't think Katherine could take credit for that.
The apartment is part of Roger and Katherine's house but has separate access (access is via a spiral staircase which is not suitable for anyone which mobility issues) but that is clearly stated on the web site.
The apartment is ideal, it is beautifully decorated and has all you could need for your stay. A home from home. We would love a similar spacious shower.
We had a lovely week, the apartment is in an ideal location in the town. You are treated to lovely views of the hills from the comfort of your own living room, but it is a stones throw from the town and all the shops, restaurants you should need.
We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place and the next time we visit Pitlochry we will be staying again.

"Another beautiful stay"

This was our second stay at this property and hopefully not our last. The apartment is spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable and homely. We love staying here and find it a great base to explore the area. Would thoroughly recommend for any-one who likes the freedom of being able to self cater.

"Lovely apartment in a great location"

The apartment was clean and well equipped, the owner was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to the centre of Pitlochry and many of the local attractions and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to family and friends.

"An enjoyable relaxing unwind."

A very spacious we'll equipped flat. Within easy walking distance of town centre. Fantastic views from living room. Katherine and Roger made us very welcome and are on hand if anything is required.

"Friendly hosts, excellent unit in a great position"

As we stayed over Christmas for 9 nights the unit was very roomy and comfortable. Beautiful views from the lounge windows, very clean, the kitchen was good to work in and well equipped.
Katherine and Roger were very friendly helpful hosts and as we were on our own for Christmas invited us for dinner that night.

We spent five days here and wish it could have been longer. The apartment was a home from home, very comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped. A warm welcome from the delightful Katherine and Roger, but in no way intrusive, and it was good to know their house was attached to the apartment , so they would be on hand for any concerns, though there weren't any. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friends, or to returning ourselves. We couldn't have wished for more.

"Perfect getaway"

Never visited Pitlochry and to be honest didn't spend too much time out and about because weather was crazy. The flat was absolutely perfect, all the mod cons you needed bathroom and kitchen-wise, amazingly comfy bed and great lounge/tv area with lovely views of the hills. Will be back as soon as we have more time off work and really can't recommend enough. Katherine and Roger even came to meet us at the train station to walk us up. Absolute 5 star service. Only advice to new visitors is make sure to read the house rules, we ended up checking out an hour late because we hadn't realised when we were supposed to go!

"The perfect place for a perfect holiday!"

Tigh-na-Craig is a wonderful apartment, which owners Katherine and Roger have clearly put a lot of work in to.

We found it to be immaculately kept, excellently equipped and in an excellent location close to Pitlochry high street.

It is extremely well located both in terms of the wealth of activities, walks and sites in the Pitlochry area and for easy road access further afield to the Cairngorms National Park and Aberfeldy.

We would certainly recommend visiting in October as the autumn colours made the scenery even more spectacular,
