About the home

A beautiful self catering property sleeping 6 in three bedrooms.There are two twin bedrooms downstairs and a family bathroom with over bath shower.Also a large open plan kitchen/ dining /lounge.The french doors lead from the lounge onto a patio with views to the hills at the rear of the property.Upstairs is a large double bedroom with ensuite shower room.

The property is set in a quite location within the hamlet of Old Struan.It is a 5 min drive to the main A9 trunk road which makes travelling in any direction to explore all areas of Scotland very easy.The property is 6 miles from Blair Atholl which has many facilities including two small grocery shops ,a pub / hotel , petrol station , cash machine,post office and a golf course. Also a few cafes/ restaurants and take away food shop.The larger town of Pitlochry is 11 miles away.

The house is very well equipped for a comfortable visit. We have satellite television in the lounge and we have wireless broadband available. One of the bedrooms has TV for playing games ( PlayStation and games available)and watching DVD's. Please see our own website for full details.

The house is set in a large garden set mainly to grass.There is a large driveway with ample off road parking.The house has extensive views in all directions of the surrounding counrtyside.There is a river flowing close to the house and many walks around for all walking levels.The patio to the rear has seating and table and chairs and there is also seating to the front of the house.

As the garden is not fenced in and there is a river close by young children need to be supervised while outside the property.

By car from Glagow or Edinburgh takes about 1 hour 45mins.There are direct train services from Glasgow and Edinburgh. The nearest station is at Blair Atholl 6 miles from the house.Flights arriving into either Glasgow or Edinburgh will find car hire available at both airports.

“beautiful cottage in lovely peaceful location” beautiful clean modern cottage. fully equipped with everything you need for your stay plus extras.lovely garden and surrounding area. peaceful walks and a short drive from many lovely places. will be staying again next year
