From the owner

The house is an early 20th century Art Nouveau building recently restored according to its original style, with care and attention to every detail. It is situated in a peaceful environment overlooking the lush Reno valley.

The villa used to belong to an important politician, Mr. Gismondo Morelli Gualtierotti, who commissioned this building to the architect who had designed the Supreme Court palace in Rome. The façade's Art Nouveau style was very trendy at the time but quite unusual in a green rural area such as the Apennines of Pistoia.

My father and I decided to buy this building on the purpose of welcoming tourists from all over the world. We turned it in a holiday villa in 2009 and decided to offer adequately wide common areas and all modern comforts, such as the 6 en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining spaces and a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by contemporary sculptures in white Carrara marble. Two more double bedrooms are available in the cosy annex located by the pool.

In 2021 we added a very special space on the rear terrace: a modern sunroom with a big Jacuzzi and a wide sauna, to make our house enjoyable in every season, no matter the external weather.

Villa Morelli's unique location provides endless outdoor opportunities such as walking excursions, mountain bike and horse riding. Moreover, the villa is located at the begining of the Apennine Mountains region but just 20 minutes from the medieval town of Pistoia (where you can find highway and railway connections to Florence and the other most important destinations of Tuscany), so that our villa may be an ideal base for tourists interested in visiting the famous Tuscan art cities as well as for nature lovers, aiming to discover the Apennines' beautiful landscapes in all seasons.     You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Davide (the owner) a message.

    If Davide (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
