Situated only twenty minutes drive from Paphos airport, a newly constructed, superb luxury villa, offering three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin, two bathrooms (one en-suite), large open plan lounge/dining area and a fully equipped separate kitchen area. This superb villa has its own private pool, generous garden/seating areas with luxury sun loungers/parasols, a separate BBQ entertaining area, all with breathtaking views over the Mediterranean sea. The villa is just a short stroll to the main village centre with its many bars and restaurants, and only a short drive will take you to the beach or the world famous Aphrodite Hills golf course.

The villa benefits from having lots of privacy and so is ideal for those wanting total peace and quiet. It is also great for small families with children.

Facilities

The main living/dining area has two marble radiators installed for use in the colder months. Both bathrooms also have heated towel rails which can also be used to heat the bathrooms. The air conditioning units also provide heat if required.

The indoor dining area seats 6 people but the outdoor BBQ area has a luxury table that seats 8. There is also a shaded area with a table seating 4, and a relaxing bistro area at the rear of the villa that seats 2.

To respect your privacy, no cleaning will be done throughout your stay. The villa will be thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. Extra linen and towels will be left in the wardrobes for you to change half way through your stay.

Further details outdoors:
The villa also benefits from a Pergola, offering a great shaded area for relaxing and dining. There is also a seating area at the rear of the villa, perfect for those who like to read in peace.

Vehicles may be parked on the driveway, but we leave our car on the private road outside, thus creating more terrace space.

The pool will visited and maintained/cleaned early morning on Tuesday's and Friday's.

Please be aware that the villa is only available from 15.00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00am on day of departure. However, depending on other guests arrival/departure times, these times may be flexible, but you must check with us before booking your flights.

A welcome hamper containing wine, beer, water, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter and a selection of preserves will be awaiting you with our compliments.

We have also provided a welcome pack containing information on the facilities, restaurants, places to go, emergency services etc, along with a large collection of movies for your enjoyment.

A REFUNDABLE security deposit of £200 required when booking, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

The Limassol region

The city of Lemesos (Limassol) is situated in a picturesque location on the shores of the Bay of Akrotiri in the narrow coastal plain, between the two ancient city kingdoms of Amathus to the east and Kourion to the west. It is within an hour's drive from the capital Lefkosia to the north, the port cities of Larnaka to the east and Pafos to the west and the main mountain resorts of the Troodos range.

In the city's environs there are numerous archaeological sites to visit covering the whole spectrum of the island's history and even pre-history from the neolithic settlement at Sotera, to Roman Kourion, to Mediaeval Kolossi Castle, to Byzantine churches.Then there are the picturesque villages on the mountain slopes, known the world over for their excellent wines, including the famous Commandaria. Higher up the mountains still is the summer resort of Platres and the Monastery of Trooditissa among the pine forests of the Troodos massif.

The Pissouri / Pissouri Village area

Pissouri is a seaside village located in Limassol’s district, thirty kilometres westwards of Limassol’s centre, between Limassol and Pafos. Pissouri’s administrative area is the third biggest in Limassol District. The main settlement of Pissouri is situated about three kilometres away from the bay named Cape Aspro, and is built on the side of a green hill. The settlement, strangely, is placed in the middle of Pissouri’s territory.

As a visitor to the town, one would obtain a great insight into Mediterranean culture by visiting the church of Apostle Andreas and some of the smaller old churches in the area.


The Church of Apostle Andrea was built with voluntary work by the good-willing residents of the community in 1883. The work for the construction of the church lasted for about twelve years. The Stone that the church is built originates from the regions of villages Anogyra and Prasteio villages and was transferred in the village with carts which were dragged by Cypriot donkeys. The church is built in Gothic style. The place that it is built was used as the village cemetery up to 1912. The church is famous for its wooden-carved Icon Stand, which is a real work of art and was manufactured in 1890. The manufacture lasted 10 entire years because of the means of that time.

Other chapels are: Saint George, Prophet Elias, Saint Alexandros, Saint Mauritius, Saint Spyridonas.

Pissouri has one of the most beautiful and idyllic beaches on the island, maybe in the Mediterranean. As the crystal blue waves meet with the rocky slope, they compose a magical melody that enchants all visitors. This wonderful seashore is two kilometres long; it starts from Aspros Cape and reaches the wild and rocky hills. It is also special for its extraordinary beauty and its organization according to European standards. The beach of Pissouri has been awarded with the European Blue Flag. This indicates that it meets all European standards of organization and cleanliness. All visitors are impressed by the crystal waters and the clean sand. What is more, provision for the safety of all swimmers is included with the continuous presence of lifeguards. The beach also has toilet and shower facilities.

There are several car hire desks located at Paphos airport, the most popular are Avis and Hertz, both of which I found were cheeper than local car hire firms and cars can be collected directly at the airport on your arrival (please consult their websites for desk opening times as these will vary).

Pissouri is situated 25 kilometres from Paphos airport and the journey will take approx 20-25 minutes.
The journey from Larnaca airport is 110 kilometres and should take approx 60-70 minutes.

What a wonderfully peaceful place. We have been to Cyprus now quite a few times and this is the first time we have not complained about noisy neighbours. The facilities at the villa are great – one level with roman steps into the pool. I am sure we will be back.

We have made full use of the facilities, Iann & Lesley have done a great job with their villa and obviously a lot of hard work has gone into making it very comfortable and welcoming. We hope to return to Villa Iremia, still so much to see and enjoy. The locals are friendly and Leon (lives at the end of the road) likes to wave and help any way he can. We had a lovely holiday!!!
