Home description

Pissouri is a traditional Cypriot village bursting with character, boasting tavernas, small bars, a village square and amphitheatre. If you want discos, nightclubs and loud music... you've got the wrong place!
There is a lovely quiet beach which hosts turtle breeding at certain times of the year.
This property is suitable for couples and young families alike.

The Limassol District

The islands second largest city 'Limassol' (also known as Lemesos) spreads out between two ancient city kingdoms, Amothous to the east and Kourion to the west, two of the most spectacular archaeological sites in Cyprus.
Why not roam around the narrow streets in the old town near the old fishing harbour, visit the medieval castle or just simply shop in the local market.
A sort drive takes you to the vineyards and lovely wine producing areas around Limassol.


Pissouri / Pissouri Village area

Many open air restaurants, village square with tavernas an old traditional village unspoilt by time. Narrow streets and old buldings give this village its natural charm.
Pissouri has its own amphitheatre and square where at many times they have open air concerts and festivals.
Situated half way between Limmasol and Pafos, the airport of Pafos just 30 minutes drive and Larnaca airport, approx 60 mins. Close to beaches, golf, and water sports. There are 2 beautiful golf courses just 20 minutes drive away. Pissouri beach is a 5/10 minute journey by car where there are several resteraunts, water sports, a top class hotel in The Columbia Beach Resort.
At certain times of the year turtles arrive on the beach at Pissouri to deliver their young.
Pafos, with its harbour resteraunts and medieval fort, boat tours and water sports makes for a great day out.
Or why not visit Polis, where it is usually quiet and in line with nature, the Akamas peninsula has dramatic coastlines and is an area of natural wilderness
The Troodos mountains are about 75 minutes away where there are lovely walks, scenery and ski-ing in winter .

Budget airlines include Thompson, Easyjet and Monarch, flying into Pafos or Larrnaca.
It takes less than half an hour from Pafos airport and 60 minutes from Larnaca airport to the apartment.
