About the home

Villa Strelitzia is located in the picturesque hill top village of Pissouri on the south coast of Cypus. It is five minutes drive from the resort of Pissouri Beach and twenty minutes drive from Paphos airport.

The Pissouri area enjoys a superb location combining sea and mountain views. Pissouri Bay has a lovely beach with amenities including watersports and a delightful beach cafe. It is close to the 5 star Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort.Pissouri is within easy reach of Paphos and Limassol town centres . The villa also offers a private pool.

The villa is newly built. It has one double bedroom and one bedroom with 2 single beds. The living area is open plan and includes a modern fitted kitchen, dining area and living area. There are patio doors in the living area and both bedrooms.The living room and master bedroom patio doors overlook the pool area. The amenities include full air conditioning in each room, a large flat screen TV with satellite TV and wifi access. There is a DVD player and an IPoD dock. The bathroom has a walk in shower. Linen and towels are provided. Guests will receive a welcome pack on arrival.

The Private pool 7m x 3.5m provided with four sun loungers. There is exterior lighting in the patio area and underwater lighting in the pool. The back garden is provided with outdoor dining furniture, a barbecue, and an outdoor sink and food preparation facility.

The Limassol region

Limassol boasts the biggest port in the Mediteranian trade.It has become a popular destination for tourists and trades because of its number of museams and archaeological sites.Home to the Cyprus University of Technology,Limassol draws in many visitors in the summer months.Limassol Marina is currently being built which will provide berths for both small and larger ships and draw in more trade to the area.Six Miles east of Limassol is the ancient Royal City of Cyrus.Its legendary Ruins can provide a unique experience for those vvisiting this district.

The Pissouri area

While Pissouri retains its traditional Cypriot character, visitors can find almost anything they want in Pissouri - there are some excellent local shops, including two butchers and two supermarkets. There is a wide varierty of tavernas serving classic Cypriot cuisine as well as many cafes and bars . There are also two banks in Pissouri village square. Pissouri Beach has many fine seafood restaurants on the seafront.

There is a Cyprus night held very week in Pissouri Village Square which features traditional Cypriot music and dance and a buffet.. Cyprus has many facilities for sports such as golf, tennis and watersports. Pissouri beach has jet skis, windsurfing, boat rides and scuba diving on offer. The area is very good for ramblers . In the the winter the Trodos mountain range provides skiing and tobogganing, while in the summer it offers lovely cool refreshing walks thought the pine covered slopes of the mountains. Ramblers can also enjoy fine coastal walks thoroughout the year.

“lovely villa - nice and quite” Stayed 2 weeks in the lovely villa. A pack of the usual goodies awaited us along with a beautiful dressed tables with fresh lavnder twings from the garden. and a nice bottle of wine which was lovely. Very clean with everything you need. our fav bits - the pool and sattilite tv as it was the olympics - had to watch foreign tv but still fine. improvements- darker window coverings- the sun awoke us very early not always wanted after a night on the vino. our tip- hire a car, we didnt think it was walking distance in to the town. oh and definaetly DONT leave food out on kitchen work tops - ants. fav resturaunt - olympic- you get a warm welcome and a very good steak. also enjoyed a good meze overlooking the bay

“all you could need fantastic villa” i am writing this on behalf of my dad, i went with my parents to this villa 2 years ago. it was fantastic. very peaceful setting is a little out the village but great for a walk after dinner. a car is most likely a nesscetity for getting about. the area in pissouri is quiet great for chillaxing. the villa its self was lovely, very clean and well stocked with all things needed like a home from home. sitting one the sun roof watching the sun rise was lovely and to sit by our own pool even better although word of warning pool water is a bit cold, but great at the hottest part of the day. beds were lovely and comfortable. we are due to go again in a few weeks and i am very much looking forward to it. my parents have been on their own without me last year the cheek of them!! and had as equally a good stay but well we all love cyprus but this villa makes our stay even more relaxing.
