About the home

Villa Oceania is built with comfort, relaxation and amenity in mind. Set in its attractive well established private gardens with swimming pool and a southerly aspect the villa offers luxury accommodation with air-conditioning throughout. It is conveniently located less than 5 minutes’ stroll from the beautiful blue flag beach of Pissouri Bay and the traditional amenities of this quiet and friendly resort.
Oceania offers light and airy open plan living on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable contemporary European furnishings for the dining and lounge areas to accommodate six people. There is also a separate WC and utility room. The dining and lounge areas lead on to a spacious veranda overlooking the private gardens and swimming pool and is ideal for al-fresco meals and relaxation. Upstairs provides three double bedrooms each with balconies and some views of the Mediterranean. The master bedroom has a luxury en-suite shower room. A family bathroom (bath plus shower) serves the other two bedrooms.
The location offers a wonderful opportunity to explore and discover the rich heritage, traditional way of life and the modern Cyprus and is ideal for a relaxing holiday

The master bedroom has a 5’ double bed, bedroom furniture and en-suite facilities. Two further double bedrooms one with a 4’6 double bed and bedroom furniture and one with two 3' single beds and bedroom furniture. A ll bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with balconies and sea views from the bedrooms.
Downstairs is open plan including a fully equipped kitchen; the dining area has a large table and six chairs; the lounge area has three two seater settees, a coffee table and a free standing wood burning stove (not connected at present). There is also a downstairs toilet, a utility room with a sink and an automatic washing machine and an outside storage room.

Further details outdoors:
A large partly shaded veranda has a table and six chairs for al fresco dining. There is ample further space on the terrace and in the lawned gardens for relaxation and sun bathing. Six Sun loungers are located beside the L-shaped swimming pool, depth 1m to 1.8m. The beautiful matured gardens provide a choice for seclusion, sun or shade. A private road leads to the villa and there is parking on the property for 2/3 cars.

The Limassol region

Pissouri Bay is located 3 km off the main highway midway between the historic harbour town of Paphos and the bustling city of Limassol, 32 km each way. Not far away and well worth a visit on the old coastal road are to be found the Roman amphitheatre and mosaics at Kourion (where Shakespeare plays and concerts are performed in the Summer months) and the scenic Petra Tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Birth Place). For the keen golfers a 15 minute drive gets you to the two championship golf courses of Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills. The charming vine growing villages of the Troodos mountains are but a 40 minute drive away. There you will find walks among the scented pine forests with expansive views and stunning landscapes, not to mention the serenity and beauty of the monasteries and churches. Experiences not to be missed.

The Pissouri / Pissouri Bay area

Pissouri Bay, traditionally part of the vine growing area of Limassol District, escapes the mass tourism of the more widely known Cyprus resorts and is perfect for “getting away from it all”. It is a quiet and friendly seaside spot with a wonderful blue flag beach on your doorstep. It offers a wide range of water sports and has plenty choice of traditional tavernas, restaurants and styles of cuisine - yours to discover. Pissouri Bay is a favourite place for Cypriots to visit at weekends and sample the local delights of fish meze. During the summer season “Cyprus nights” are held on Fridays with Cypriot food, music and dancing. Other amenities include mini markets, pizzeria, sports pub, car hire, bank with ATM, water sports and dive centre, health and beauty, travel agency etc.

Pissouri Village is a 5 minute drive high up the hill. The old village centres around an attractive square with quaint narrow streets leading to it. In the village you will find the church, shops, banks, internet cafe, gym, health and beauty salon, restaurants and tavernas where you can relax and watch the world go by. On Wednesday evenings the square hosts “Cyprus nights” where visitors mix with the locals in a party atmosphere. The modern amphitheatre has regular entertainment including military bands, folk dancing and plays throughout the season.

Airport Paphos to Pissouri Bay - approximately 20 minutes drive
Airport Larnaca to Pissouri Bay - approximately 1h 15 minutes drive
Hire cars and taxis are readily available from both airports.
From Paphos airport follow the signs for Lemesos on the A6, exit at Pissouri and join the B6 heading for Lemesos then turn off right to Pissouri Bay/Jetty.
From Larnaca airport follow the A6 through Lemesos towards Paphos, leaving the A6 at the Pissouri Bay exit which joins the B6 towards Pissouri, follow the sign for Pissouri Bay/Jetty.

A 20% per week non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival date plus a refundable breakages/damages payment of £200 per week. The breakages/damages deposit will be returned promptly after your visit, though deductions may be made for damage or losses occurring during your stay. No rental refund will be payable if the booking is cancelled after the final payment is made. We recommend that a suitable travel insurance policy is taken out at the time of booking. Payment is required by sterling cheque or bank transfer in GBP, or in Euros by prior arrangement only.
