About the home

Filled with morning sunshine, this high quality new air-conditioned apartment is finished in contemporary style and is set on the top floor of this well-designed apartment scheme by a leading developer. Sun bathe on the extensive pool terrace with an exceptional 18m x 18m pool. Use of local tennis club. Easy access with dedicated car space adjacent to lift.
A playstation 2 is provided for those days when you need to keep out of the sun for an hour or two, as is Sky tv and a dvd player as well as an ipod dock.

Broadband internet is available at the apartment.

Pissouri is a charming picturesque hill village with an unspoilt centre, free of cars and with a selection of pavement bars and bistros, with "Cyprus Night" each Wednesday offering music and dancing in the square, it is quaint, unspoilt and almost of a byegone era.
Pissouri Bay is 5 mins drive away and around a half mile long with clean blue flag bathing, and for a special treat perhaps lunch or a spa day at the fabulous 5 star Columbia Beach Resort. Excellent golf is 10 mins drive away at Aphrodite Hills (course by Cabell Robinson) and the beautifully set Secret Valley some 15 mins away.
All this just an easy 20 minute drive from Paphos International Airport.

The Limassol region

The countryside around Pissouri is a mixture of dramatically rugged and hilly, and rolling valleys with vineyards, olive trees and arable fields. In Spring the lowlands are beautifully green and unexpectedly reminiscent of parts of the UK.
Nearby is the mythological site of Petra Tou Romiou, the birthplace of Aphrodite - which is a large rock off a headland, which if swum around three times gives eternal youth.
The scenic Troodos mountains are a good day out and offer 6-8 weeks ski-ing each winter.
Paphos is about 20 minutes along the uncrowded motorway and offers extensive retail, entertainment and nightlife, as well as the intriguing Tombsof the Kings archeological site, and the superb mosaics at Paphos Harbour.

The Pissouri / Pissouri Village area

Pissouri offers an excellent choice for eating out such as the Hillview Restaurant, Hideaway, and Vraka Tavern, a creperie, and other cafes and all within walking distance.
At the beachside in Pissouri Bay are further tavernas including the highly-regarded Liminaki Tavern (booking advised).
Around the headland 10 mins away is another bay - the Melanda Beach with a simple fish taverna.

Cyprus is now opening up to low cost carriers including Easyjet and Monarch as well as many charter airlines such as First Choice and Thomas Cook which offer scheduled departures from many airports in the UK.
Pissouri is an easy 20 min drive from Paphos Airport and approx 1 hour 20 mins from Larnica. Many local car hire companies offer reasonable rates from GBP£8 per day.

“A fantastic relaxing break” The flat was perfect for 4 people.It was extremely clean and simply decorated with comfortable beds.The balcony caught the morning sun. It was big enough to eat breakfast on and overlooked the swimming pool which was clean and inviting. There were good quiet beaches only 5 mins drive away. We had some delicious meals out including one at a taverna in the old part of Pissouri which we were able to walk to. Nice not to have to drive. After hearing about the financial crisis in Cyprus we were nervous that paying with a credit card might be difficult, however we had no problems whatsoever on that front and we found Cypriots to be friendly and helpful and keen to have our business.

“Beautiful apartment, perfect for a relaxing holiday” The apartment is spacious, modern and comfortable with a great living area, and completely affordable for a week away. Our trip from the airport was incredibly easy as we were able to pick our hire car up straight away. We were able to cater for ourselves as the kitchen has everything we needed, but the town was a short walk away so we also went for dinner some nights, pissouri has some lovely restaurants and a nice bar. The best part is the balcony which overlooks the pool, where we ate most of our meals. The private swimming pool is a good size, really clean and perfect for a morning swim! We also visited the beach a lot which was only a shirt drive away and had so many nice days there, unfortunately we didn't get to visit aphrodite's rock which is close by but apparently it's well with a visit. Overall our stay was completely flawless and a complete bargain, we were able to stay in an apartment that felt like home (but better, by the sea with a swimming pool) and I'll definitely be going back!
