About the home

Old Vines is a 3 bedroom villa with its own pool, perfect for a family holiday. The villa is fully air conditioned and has Wifi. The master twin bedroom has an en suite shower room and there is a further twin and double room. plus a family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have their own balconies with beautiful views over the garden and pool towards the sea.

The pool is perfect for all swimmers and there is a large lawned area and a well established garden. The villa is located only 3 minutes walk away from Pissouri Beach which has various watersports available. Pissouri Beach has all the amenities you would require with plenty of eating establishments to choose from. For the golfer there are 2 acclaimed golf courses about 10 minutes drive away. Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley.

The master bedroom has twin beds and an en suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms one twin and one double. The villa has full air conditioning through out, plus ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. All bedrooms have stunning views overlooking the garden and pool towards the sea. Two of the bedrooms have their own balconies with chairs and table. There is a family bathroom with a full sized bath and shower.

Downstairs is spacious open plan, with plenty of seating in the living room. There is television with local TV sations and a DVD player. There is a dining table with 6 chairs and a fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, electric split level oven and dishwasher. There is a downstairs toilet and separate utility room with a fridge freezer and washing machine.

There is a large shaded outdoor terrace with a table and chairs plus lots of comfortable sun loungers and parasols, The is also a gas BBQ available for your use.

The Limassol region

Limassol is bustling town with everything from traditional shops, a castle, fish markets to supermarkets and a port, from where you can take short breaks to Rhodes, Egypt, Jordan and Israel.

Cyprus is rich in history, you can visit Kolossi Castle built by the Knights of St John or take a trip North to see the only divided city in Europe, Nicosia. The beautiful foothills of the Troodos Mountains have many vineyards and monasteries to discover. There are 2000 year old Roman ruins at Currium. Currium also hosts outdoor concerts and theatre productions during the summer months.

Cyprus has a fantastic climate hot summers and very mild winters. The people are warm and friendly and most speak English.

The Pissouri / Pissouri Bay area

The villa is in Pissouri Beach, only 200 metres from the beach itself. There are several good restaurants/tavernas including fish restaurants and an excellent Lebanese/Greek fusion restaurant, plus an Indian restaurant and pizza takeaway. The beach has a water sports centre and a diving club. The famous 5 star Columbia Hotel and Resort is situated at the end of the beach.

Pissouri Village is a few minutes drive away by car and is set upon a hilltop some 500 feet above the bay. It is a charming and typical Cypriot villiage with several tavernas, restaurants and shops. The villiage square is the setting for the local weekly Cyprus night with Greek dancing and music to entertain once a week in the high season.

The Troodos mountains are 45mins drive away, and Aphrodite's rock less than 10k away. The championship golf courses Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills are within 10mins drive.

There are waterparks in Paphos and Fasouri (Limassol).

Paphos airport is only 15 minutes drive away - while Larnaca is 1hr 15mins. British Airways, Cyprus Airways, Excel, EuroCypria, First Choice, Airtours, Monach ,Thomas Cook and Thompsons all fly to Cyprus.

Taxis are readily available from both airports (it should cost around CYP20 to get from Paphos airport by taxi and around CYP50 from Larnaca). There are several car hire companies at both airports including holiday autos and economy car rentals.

Directions:-

From Paphos airport follow signs for Lemesos on the A6, after about 10mins exit at Pissouri and join the B6 still heading for Lemesos. Follow the signs for Pissouri Bay or Pissouri Jetty.

From Larnaca airport go on the A6 through Limassol following signs for Paphos, Leave the A6 at the first exit for Pissouri and join the B6 towards Pissour Bay / Jetty.
