The Limassol District

The countryside around Pissouri ranges from majestic cliffs overlooking the mediterranean to the beautiful slopes of the Troodos mountains. To the west is the much loved port of Paphos. The harbour area is soon to be improved to a world class standard and plans are afoot to upgrade and extend the paphos airport. The " Mosaics" of paphos are famous and depict scened from greek mythology.,In the adjacent area are the " Tombs Of The Kings ". These tombs date back to 4th century b.c. and are of great interest. The area appeals to hikers, mountain biking , scuba diving and kite surfing.

Pissouri area

Pissouri has a good choice of tavernas and a lovely square and each wednesday is " Cyprus Night" whenupon the whole village and visitors take part in singing and dancing and the local wine flows all night. The area has 3 good golf courses and many more are planned. The exclusive " Aphrodite Hills Golf Resort "is outstanding and only 5 mins away. The beach, Pissouri Bay, is a combination of sand and pebbles and here there is a dozen restaurants and tavernas to choose from. Further to the west is the stunning Akamas Nature Reserve and the holiday villages of Latchi and Polis.

All major british airports have flights to Cyprus and Paphos airport is the nearest one to this property. The facilities include fridge/freezer, dining table and four chairs, bar stools, oven and hob,hairdryer, iron and board, television. The spacious open plan kitchen leads into the lounge and a couple of three seater leather sofas. The french windows open out to the garden/patio area. There are two very good restaurants en route via a short walk to the lovely village of Pissouri which also has many bars, banks, restaurants. Pissouri Bay is just 5 minutes away in a car. Here there are a couple of beach bars, many restaurants, water sports for the energetic and a tranquil atmosphere for those just wanting relaxation.

Just 50 metres away is the shared swimming pool and beds and it has a toilet / shower facility. There is a designated parking space to the side of the apartment.
