The Limassol District
Limassol is the second largest town in Cyprus and has a population of about 137,000. Its history is obscure but it seems to have grown in importance after the decline of the ancient kingdoms of Curium to the West and Amathus to the East. There are so many charms hidden and just waiting to be discovered in Cyprus and the Cypriots love to share their great heritage with tourist.
Today Limassol is a major port, a busy commercial centre, the home of hundreds of offshore companies, and a popular tourist resort. Renowned for its superior cosmopolitan atmosphere it has grown over the past ten years beyond all recognition. The Limassolians have a reputation for being the most sociable people on the island and the town is the venue for the annual Carnival celebrations and a Wine festival held every September since 1961 in the Municipal Gardens of Limassol which is a delightful experience.
Tourism has seen substantial growth in recent years and nestled amongst a hilltop location above a beach lapped by crystal clear blue waters lies Pissouri village one of the most sought-after locations on the south coast in the Limassol district. A great combination of peace and quiet, this traditional quaint village offers several choices of places to eat and a low-key nightlife which makes this picturesque village a favourite amongst holidaymakers time and time again.

Pissouri area
Pissouri is an idyllic, traditional village which overlooks some of the most breathtaking scenery in Cyprus. To the north are the magnificent Troodos Mountains for wintertime sking which forms the heart of this beautiful island, whilst to the south you will find the Pissouri open air amphitheatre, wonderful vineyards and irresistible Mediterranean beaches.
The village has an abundance of fresh, local produce from the region which can be enjoyed when dining at any of the traditional tavernas and bars located in the village square. The village square is especially vibrant on Wednesday evenings during the summer months when Cyprus nights with traditional Cypriot music and dancing comes alive and is enjoyed by all.
Pissouri is a perfect location for couples and families. The Cypriot people love children and embrace them warmly taking them to their hearts.
For those who want to enjoy sporting activities the blue flag awarded Pissouri beach provides watersports including scuba diving, wind surfing and jet skies or you can enjoy all year round golfing at the World Class 18 hole course the largest on the island complete with a 3 hole golf Academy and Clubhouse. Additional facilities include a tennis academy with 12 courts one being a championship standard court.
For the children you might want to try horse riding, trekking in nearby countryside at the Elias Beach Horse Riding Centre east of Limassol or Pony rides in theTroodos mountains. You may want a day out at the Limassol Luna park to cool off or a day at the Limassol Reptile House.
Whatever you choose will no doubt be an enjoyable experience! You may just want to enjoy a relaxing day settled around the pool on a sun lounger with a good book and a long drink taking a dip when the mood takes you. Whatever you do you will not fail to enjoy the long hours of the warm Cypriot sunshine which will make your holiday an experience to remember.
How to get there
Fly to Paphos airport approximately 20 kilometres (just over 12 miles) to Pissouri village
An easy straight forward route along the coastal road taking approximately 20 minutes (directions will be provided) prior to trip
Alternatively, you can choose to land at Larnaca airport (recommended for frequent travellers to Cyprus) and take a leisurely hours drive to Pissouri enjoying the beautiful landscape and spectacular views.

We have provided a coffee maker so guests can wake up to the wonderful aroma of coffee percolating. Why not try the fresh local produce and make fresh orange juice to enjoy with your breakfast whilst you relax in the early morning sunshine on your patio?
The villa has a good choice of kitchenware for all your indoor and outdoor cooking needs. For families you may want to use the plastic kitchenware provided for children indoors and outdoors.
The villa has an extensive choice of movies for you to enjoy during late evenings if you choose to stay in. You may want to bring CD's to enjoy your favourite music whilst relaxing around the pool.
A champagne bucket is available for those celebrating a special occasion. Enjoy that glass of champagne whilst the barbeque is sizzling.
The utility room provides items you may find useful during your stay such as a hoover, broom, dust pan and brush, mop and bucket.
All clean towels and linen will be provided

No smoking in the villa. Smoking is permitted outside the villa please ensure all ciggarette ends are placed in t he bin and do not find their way into the pool.
A first aid kit can be found in the kitchen cupboard above the fridge freezer
Please note a refundable deposit of £200 is required to cover any damage/breakages to be included with your final payment. Details will be sent to you prior confirming the balance due.
Please inform the owner by phone or email on your immediate return home of any minor breakages/damages in the property. This is to ensure repairs/items can be replaced for our next visitors. The deposit will only be non refundable if major damage/breakage has occured due to mistreatment of any item or the property itself. I am a fair and reasonable person and I do appreciate that minor accidents can happen especially with children. I will not withold a deposit in circumstances I consider minor and the monies will be refunded.
Conditions
Upon receipt of your final balance an information pack with all relevant details and contact numbers for your stay at the villa will be sent to you.
If you require a welcome pack and have a list of items you would like placed in the villa prior to your arrival please email the owner with details no later than 2 weeks prior to your departure.
A guests book will be placed in the villa for your feedback and comments. Please take time to enter some positive feedback regarding your stay. Feedback is a gift and I would welcome any positive feedback that can enhance the stay of any future visitors. Thank you for taking the time.
