Villa Maria is located in a particularly delightful area approximately 10 mins leisurely walk to Pissouri Beach, restaurants and shops. The property is built in a traditional style with wooden doors and shutters and has a private garden plus a large south-facing balcony. There are two air conditioned bedrooms, one double and one twin. The open plan living area is tastefully furnished and has TV, DVD, Hi-Fi. The kitchen has electric oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and board. Double doors lead onto the south-facing balcony overlooking the communal garden. There is also carport parking. The communal swimming pool (open April - October) is set in a beautifully maintained garden with tennis courts and delightful restaurant/bar, toilets, changing rooms and outside shower.
Pissouri is a wonderful area of Cyprus for the discerning holidaymaker. The locals are extremely friendly and helpful, mostly all speak English and they drive on the left too. Every Wednesday evening during the Summer months they hold a typical Cypriot Evening in the Village Square which the locals love to attend as well. Two excellent golf courses are within a short drive away and the hillside villages en route to the Troodos mountain are worth visiting to enjoy a cooler climate during the hot dry summer months.

The Limassol District
Limassol is one of the 6 districts of Cyprus, it borders with Larnaca in the East, Paphos in the West and the capital Nicosia in the North. The capital of this district is Limassol which is the second largest city in Cyprus. Limassol is located on the southern coast of Cyprus an area rich in culture and history. Great sights to see in Limassol city include: The medieval castle, The Archaeological Museum, The Folk Art Museum and much more.
The climate here is warm and dry in the summer and mild in the winter. Summer temperatures range from between 22 and 38 degrees Celsius. The sea temperatures are warm enough to enjoy swimming and water sports throughout the year.

Pissouri / Pissouri Bay area
Pissouri is a beautiful town set on a hill which overlooks the lush vineyards and fields below. Situated between Paphos and Limassol this location is a perfect base for enjoying what both of these towns have to offer. Pissouri bay boasts over 2km of sandy and shingle beaches with a multitude of water sports to enjoy. In the centre you will find a variety of excellent Tavernas and bars, which are very reasonably priced. There are also two excellent golf courses nearby.
Activities you can enjoy in the area include: Horse Riding, Scuba Diving, Golf, Jet-skiing, Windsurfing, Water skiing, Paragliding, Bananas/Tubing, Boat trips/sailing, Cycling, Cruises and much much more.

Further details outdoors: GARDEN The garden is at the front of the property surrounded by a low hedge for privacy and is mostly paved with shrubs, bourgeanvillea etc. It has an outside shower ideal for washing off sand and suncream after a day on the beach. COMMUNAL SWIMMING POOL The communal swimming pool is located just a few minutes away and is available for use between April - October. There is a large pool and children's pool set in a lovely well maintained garden. Tennis Courts are also located in this area along with a delightful Restaurant/Bar.

Accommodation was perfect for what we wanted. it was cheap, clean, tidy and convenient and had everything we needed. It was only a short walk from the beach and had all the shops and restaurants close by. Pissouri is quiet and away from it all, but accessible enough if you want busier places.
