The local people are so very friendly and cannot do enough to welcome you. The Limassol District
Cyprus is country that blends European culture with ancient enchantment. Here you will discover a compact world of alluring beaches and fragrant mountain peaks, vineyards studded with olive trees and ancient ruins that stir the imagination, along with citrus groves and old stone villages. Away from the dazzling beaches and resorts lies breathtaking scenery, undiscovered landscapes and rich culture.
Limassol is the centre of Cyprus’ wine industry, with local wines harvested from the vineyards on the sides of the Troodos mountains. The city has an annual wine festival in September and a colourful carnival at the start of Lent. There is also plenty to see and do outside of the city, such as the ruined city of Amathus and Akrotiri Salt Lake, which is home to thousands of flamingos during the winter.
Pissouri area
The villa is set over looking stunning views of the mediterranean, and just 5 minutes drive to the beach in Pissouri Bay. Several very good restaurants including fish restaurants, an Indian Restaurant and an excellent award winning Lebanese/Greek fusion restaurant, very reasonably priced and are within walking distance to the beach. Situated on the beach, there are 3 great restaurants, perfect for a spot of lunch and refreshments. behind these restaurants you will find a local convenience store, cash point and the beautiful Serenity Day Spa (perfect for a mid afternoon massage maybe). For sports enthusiasts, a water sports centre and diving club are available on the beach also. Pissouri village, a few minutes away by car, is set upon a hilltop some 500 feet above the bay. It is a charming and typical Cypriot village with several tavernas, restaurants and shops. A quaint village square lined with restaurants forms the venue for the local, unmissable weekly Cyprus night, with Greek dancing and music to entertain diners. The 6000ft high mountain range of Troodos is nearby, as are the cosmopolitan centres of Limassol and Paphos. Aphrodite's rock is only 3 miles away, this a great tourist attraction and well worth a visit.

The area of Pissouri if the perfect place for families/couples looking for a relaxing break which will enable you to absorb some typical Cypriot culture.
How to get there
BA, Cyprus Airways, EuroCypria, Helios, Thomson and Excel Airways are the main airlines, although there are many others. Fly to Paphos ideally, as it is only 15 minutes drive away. As an alternative, Larnaca is only an hour and a quarter by car. Both airports offer good car hire options. www.economycarrentals.com is recommended. Taxis are available at a reasonable cost (approx CYP20 from Paphos), but as in any country establish the fare first. From Paphos airport follow the signs for Lemesos on the A6. After ten minutes exit at Pissouri and join the B6 still heading for Lemesos. Follow the sign for Pissouri village.Continue up the hill through the village bearing left at the Olympic Restaurant till you reach the top of the road, bear left to Aprodite terra 1 no 17 (look out for a sign to interlink property services) From Larnaca airport follow the signs for the A6 and Paphos. Stay on the A6 through Limassol and until you see the second exit for Pissouri. Follow the signs for Pissouri village and continue up the hill bearing left at Olyimpic restaurant to the top of the hill and left @ Interlink signs to no 17. YOU WILL SEE TRELIS WORK ALL AROUND THE PROPERTY AND AN OLIVE TREE IN THE FRONT GARDEN.

Further details indoors: The interior of the villa has been fitted out to a very high standard and aims to give you a feel of luxury during your stay. Air conditioning is charged as an extra if required at a rate of 15 euros per day,please advise when booking. We have tryed to kit out the kitchen like home for you conveniance. You will find some of the latest dvd's for your viewing or bring your own. CD player is also available if you bring your own music,or just listen to BFBS the local station. Outside in the bbq area you will find a fitted sink and rotating bbq for your use (the local butcher Mick has the most amazing tasting meat) oh and you have to try the yogart and honey for breakfast ...amazing!! A welcome grocery pack of essentials will await you on arrival if requested. A selection of dry goods in cuboards Bed linen, towels are provided. Utility room with washing machine ,broom,dust pan and brush etc for your use. Fire extighisher Fully stocked First Aid Kit.
Further details outdoors: Built in Barbecue and preparation area. Sunbeds and garden furniture set. Roof top patio with wooden chairs and table and beautiful views. Garden and pool maintenance/cleaning will be carried out twice weekly.

For two weeks stays the villa is cleaned and fresh laundry provided at the end of the first week. Please note that a refundable breakage deposit of £100 will be required with the balance payment. Smoking is permitted outside but please no smoking inside the villa and dispose of butts respectfully, thanks.

Holiday lettings are by the week (unless by prior arrangement) from 4pm on the date of arrival to 10am on the date of departure. The time lapse is to enable the property to be inspected in between lets to ensure everything is in good order.Longer stays can be discussed. Preference in payment would be cheques.
Weekend transfers are prefered. Extra charges may be added for weekday transfers for loss of possible bookable days.
