About the home

Villa Pheakon is a newly built luxury villa located on the south coast of Cyprus and just a few minutes walk from the un-spoilt blue flag beach of Pissouri Bay. Here you can find a good selection of tavernas and mini markets.

The Villa has been constructed in traditional Greek Island Style, offering spacious accommodation throughout, private swimming pool, private parking, high degree of privacy and wonderful views towards the Bay. The 490 Sq m plot has large areas for sunbathing on the terraces finished in local stone. The garden has been planted with a variety of colourful plants/shrubs and fruit trees, and has a stylish built in BBQ.

Villa Pheakon is located in the ideal location for that relaxing holiday or for those amongst you that like to play a round of golf there are two championship courses less than 15 mins drive away.

Facilities

*The main bedroom has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, fitted wardrobes, patio doors on two sides one of which leads onto the front balcony complete with bistro table and chairs overlooking Pissouri Bay.
*Bedroom 2 has two single beds and access to the main bathroom; it has fitted wardrobes and a patio door which leads onto the main terrace. Both bathrooms have large walk in showers.
There is an additional fold up single bed, suitable for a child.
*The spacious open plan lounge and dining room is tastefully furnished with it's matching leather sofas and co-ordinating furnishings. It also boasts a 32” LCD flat screen television, DVD, Home Cinema System and satellite TV [Nilesat].
*The dining area has a table and chairs to seat 6 people. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with stainless steel electrical appliances, large storage fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob.

Further details outdoors:
*The large patios are ideal for al fresco dining with a table providing seating for 6 people. The stylish BBQ will tempt you to try your hand at cooking, that's if you able to tear yourself away from relaxing on the sunloungers around the villa's 8 x 4 metre private pool.
*In the evenings the pool and garden can be illuminated by the several lights provided. The terraces offer a high degree of privacy and sea views.
*The patio door in the master bedroom leads onto a balcony, complete with bistro table and two chairs. At the front of the villa is a quiet patio area with a 2 seater swing, an ideal area in which to relax. Private parking space for 1 car.
Fly screens fitted on all windows/patio doors.
Wi-fi internet access is also available at a small charge - payable locally.

The Limassol region

The quite resort of Pissouri, is surrounded by vineyards and beautiful sceneery. It is situated midway between Paphos and Limassol. Some of the island's most famous and historical sights are within easy driving distance from this resort with Limassol and Paphos approximately a 30-minute drive away.

And, for those of you who like a round of golf, the Secret Valley Golf is just a short drive away. Not forgetting the wonderful Aphrodite Hills Golf Club, with beautiful views over the Mediterranean Sea is Just 10 Minutes away.
There are several beautiful beaches nearby, including the sandy Avdimour Beach (10 Minutes drive).


Southern Cyprus has year round sunshine, lovely beaches and a diverse selection of cuisines in addition to excellent Cypriot food on offer. The Cypriots are warm, friendly and welcoming people. The majority speak English.

The Pissouri / Pissouri Bay area

The Villa is situated just a few minutes walk from the un-spoilt blue flag beach at Pissouri Bay with its many water sports. Pissouri Bay is a tranquil spot free of mass tourism. It is situated in a beautiful landscape and is a perfect starting point for trips (Aphodite Cliffs, Curion Amphitheatre, Troodos Mountains, Limassol and Paphos, etc.) and hikes.

Here you will find a good selection of tavernas and mini markets, all within a walking distance from the villa. Pissouri Village, about a five-minute drive from the beach, is set up on the hill commanding stunning 360-degree views. It is a traditional, quaint Greek village comprising a cluster of tranquil stone buildings.

There are many small, personal tavernas, a few shops, and a Church. The local people are extremely friendly and helpful. At night, there is a relaxed and calm atmosphere, away from crowds and nightclubs. Eating out is relatively inexpensive and the local wines are delicious. In the summer months there are weekly Cypriot nights in both Pissouri Bay and Pissouri Village.

Pissouri offer's a variety of holiday options. It is an ideal place to relax and unwind enjoying the pleasures of the beach and surrounding countryside. About 3 miles west of Pissouri is Petra tou Romiou, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, a beautiful stretch of coastline with a spectacular rocky outcrop.
The sports minded visitor has not been overlooked with windsurfing, water skiing and Jet Ski’s available in the Bay

For those of you who enjoy a round of golf there are two well known courses nearby:
APHRODITE HILLS GOLF CLUB – 10 minutes drive west
Set on top of high plateaus overlooking the Mediterranean, the birthplace of Goddess Aphrodite – Petra tou Romiou. The course length is 6.299 meters.
SECRET VALLEY GOLF CLUB – 10 minutes drive west
Set in the valley to the West of Aphrodite Hills. Why not play 36 holes in one day? – This course plays to a par 72, measures 6120 meters.

There are numerous airlines which fly into both Paphos and Larnaca airports. Below are a few suggestions:
Easyjet to Paphos from Gatwick, Luton, Manchester and Bristol.
Jet2 to Paphos from East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle.
Also Thomas Cook, Thompsonfly, First Choice, Monarch, British Airways and Cyprus Airways.

Villa Pheakon is about a 20 minute drive from Paphos Airport and about a 75 minute drive from Larnaca Airport. We will email clear directions to you from both airports and the telephone numbers of our local management team.

We would recommend hiring a car to maximise your Cyprus experience although local taxis are available. As in the UK, driving is on the left and the roads are very good and clearly signposted.
