Come and enjoy the delights of Tuscany in this lovely self catering one bedroom apartment .
Located on the popular Borgo di Colleoli 23 acre private estate, the apartment is fully equipped with all you need to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. On site, there are a number of superb facilities including two swimming pools, two restaurants and a full concierge service.
The Borgo is located in the Pisan Hills, surrounded by gardens and olive groves in the heart of Tuscany. It really is the perfect destiation to relax and explore the treasures of Pisa, Florence and Siena and the many smaller, medieval towns and villages. Its location on the "Strada del Vino", means that you can enjoy some superb local food and classic wine.
Cultural events including regular cooking classes are held throughout the year for guests to enjoy. These can only be booked here.

The Tuscany region
Tuscany provides a spectacular setting for the perfect holiday or short break whatever the time of year. Offering a warm climate, idyllic landscapes, cultural riches, superb cuisine, friendly people and a relaxed way of life, Tuscany has it all – and the apartments at Borgo di Colleoli are your perfect base to discover it.
While most visitors come to enjoy the relaxed way of life, the scenery and of course the food and wine, Tuscany provides a wealth of attractions. The historic towns of Pisa, Siena, Florence, San Miniato, Lucca, Volterra, Pistoia, and San Gimignano are all within easy reach. Pisa in particular offers more than just the Leaning Tower. It is an historic university town with a wide range of restaurants, bars and shopping. The renaissance architecture and museums make Florence a great destination for a day trip.
The beach resort of Forte dei Marmi is a forty minute drive and the vibrant night-life of Marina del Pisa is less than a thirty minute drive. Superb sailing around the islands off Pisa is close by and the major ski resort of Abetone can be reached in an hour and a half. There are superb golf opportunities less than 20 minutes drive away from the complex. Tee times can be arranged through the concierge.
For shoppers there are shopping malls nearby and there is designer outlet shopping (30-50% below UK prices). The nearby town of Pontedera has cinemas, clubs and nightlife.
Pisa / Comune di Palaia area
In the heart of rural Tuscany, a narrow winding road rises gradually uphill through the towns of Montopoli and Palaia to Borgo di Colleoli.
The Borgo sits on the "Strada del Vino", the local wine trail, with small vineyards offering their own superb Tuscan wines. The local area offers excellent dining choices at remarkably low prices. It is conveniently located just 25 miles from Florence, and 15 miles from Pisa, within easy reach of connecting airports.
The Pisa/Florence train runs through Pontedera, just 3 miles below the Borgo. Palaia, the 15th century hilltop village, is steeped in history and was the scene of battles and sieges throughout medieval times. It has excellent bars, restaurants, and local amenities, and stages Crostini and medieval festivals in the summer. Nearby historic towns include San Miniato, Volterra, and San Gimignano. There is excellent golf within a twenty minute drive, and Marina del Pisa, the seafront and night time entertainment hot spot, is less than thirty minutes away by car. Beaches and sailing choices run along the nearby coast north and south of Pisa, including the famous designer resort of Forte di Mare. A horse riding school (€25 per hour) is immediately adjacent the resort, and offers individual or group (max 5) riding on hillside trails.
How to get there
The Borgo can be reached from a variety of airports although Pisa is the most accessible and is just 30 minutes away. Florence, Bologna and Genoa airports are also good choices. While BA and Alitalia provided frequent services, there are a number of low cost carriers flying directly to Tuscany from London and regional airports in the UK.

Meridiana (part of Alitalia) is a good option to Florence from Gatwick.
All the major car hire firms are available at Pisa and Florence airports. We tend to use Avis (www.avis.com) although www.Holidayautos.com also offer good rates. There is plenty of free car parking at the Borgo.

A 50% deposit is payable for all bookings over ten weeks before the date of arrival. Full payment will be due for all bookings ten weeks and under before the date of arrival.
A fully refundable deposit of £200 will be taken at the time of booking to cover damage or breakages. This will be refunded at the end of the holiday.
Conditions
We are able to offer 3/4 night breaks, 10/11 night breaks and longer stays if required.
We also have one and two bedroom apartments available as well.
We can offer discounted rates if booking two consecutive weeks (exc July/Aug)
