Home description
Our Villa is situated on a hill in a medieval village, close to Pisa and the beaches by the Mediterranean sea. We live in the house and also rent out our nicely restored apartment, where the oldest wall is a 1000 years old. On clear days there is a view to the Leaning Tower of Pisa from the garden. The house is situated at the very top of the village, in a blind alley, 200 metres above sea level. In the village there is a grocery store and a restaurant. 2 km away you will find the municipality Calci with more shops and restaurants. Bus connection to Pisa many times a day.

Pisa / Montemagno area
The municipality Calci and the village Montemagno is situated close to Pisa and Lucca. Pope Eugenio III came from Montemagno. Here is the famous Certosa di Pisa, an old monastry with much art and history, now a recognized museum. The only restaurant in the village, Trattoria di Montemagno, serves delicious "Slow Food" at a low price. Every day people come from Pisa to have dinner in this place.
