Beautiful rustic style villa, superbly located in the hill-town of El Pinar De Campoverde, just outside the coastal town of Pilar de la Horadada. This sumptuous villa offers something for everyone. The property is situated on a 1000 m2 plot of land, surrounded by mature gardens and fruit trees. The property is fenced on all sides for privacy and security. The property provides ample space and has the added bonus of being divided into two living areas/ self-contained apartments, perfect for 2 families holidaying together! The upper living area sleeps 4, and the lower living area sleeps another 5 persons.There is access to a beautiful private swimming pool, gas barbecue and outside dining and patio areas. There is also the added benefit of off-street parking. Inside, both living areas are fully air-conditioned and fully furnished with all modern facilities such as satellite TV and video/CD/ DVD players. There are sun-loungers and outside seating and dining furniture for use on the patio and around the pool area.

• £250 deposit is required on booking. This is non-refundable (or at discretion of owner)

• The outstanding balance is due 8 weeks before the arrival date

• There is a £100 security deposit payable on the final balance. This is a fully refundable deposit (subject to satisfactory property inspection on departure). The deposit is refunded 4 weeks after guests depart

• Any call out charges by the Property Management company during your stay which are deemed to be as a result of guest negligence or misuse of the property, e.g. loss of keys, breaking furniture and equipment, over/misuse of air-conditioning system , damage to the pool etc., will be deducted from the security deposit.

• There is a £70 charge per booking on top of the rental price for normal cleaning of the Villa, Pool Area and Pool and linen changes after guest departure. However, costs for out of Normal Cleaning, and specialist/high duty cleaning that may be required after guests depart is NOT included in this fee and will be fully chargeable to guests via the security deposit.

The Valenciana region

The Alicante region of Spain encompasses 200km of coastal area plus the capital city which the regaion takes its name from. Holidays to the Costa Blanca are all about fun in the sun. Its very name, the ' White Coast', gives you a flavour of what awaits you – mile upon mile of enticing white sands. You can almost imagine yourself there, sinking your toes into the soft grains of sand with the warm Spanish sun beating down on you. Bliss.

The city of Alicante is gorgeous. The old town is all whitewashed narrow streets. The marina is chic and trendy. And its long sweep of golden sand is backed by an imposing fortress. Alicante city has a population of over 300,000 and combines both classic and modern societies, living in harmony. It offers business and pleasure, entertainment and education. The history of Alicante goes back to prehistoric times with remains being found here from the third century before Christ. Today, Alicante is a first rate tourist centre thanks to its splendid beaches, excellent climate and well known facilities. Alicante is one of the most visited cities on the Costa Blanca.

What to see in Alicante?

Having such a diverse history, there's no wonder that Alicante has so many historic buildings. Old buildings blend seemlessly with modern constructions and there's something to see on every street.

Among the churches of Alicante is the Iglesia de Santa Maria, which is the oldest church in the city and was built between the 14th and 16th centuries. It was once the main mosque during Moorish times. Its front comprises of two solid looking towers and wonderful Baroque stonework. The church houses many important works of art.

The Cathedral de San Nicolas was built between 1616 and 1662 and stands over 45 metres tall. The Communion Chapel inside is considered to be one of the most beautiful examples of Spanish Baroque architecture. St Nicolas is the patron saint of the city so this Cathedral is one of the most important buildings in the city. Despite its size, the interior is very plain. The huge dome dominates the ceiling. There are small chapels along the aisles

The Town Hall and Council Square

The Plaza de Ayuntamiento, or council square is dominated by the Town Hall with its two square towers and moulded panels. The square has fountains in the centre that appear from nowhere. The Town Hall building is an excellent example of civil Baroque architecture. Work started in 1701 and it took 9 years to build. The doorway is flanked by two wonderful barley twist columns.

Pinar De Campoverde

El Pinar de Campoverde is a residential village just outside Pilar de la Horadada. It is an area of protected pine woodland surrounded by orange and lemon groves. With its close proximity to over 200km of Mediterranean coast which is the Costa Blanca, or 'white coast' -named after the white sandy beaches- the popularity of the area goes without saying. Being at the the southern edge of the Costa Blanca, it is bordered by the Costa Calida which boasts the famous Mar Menor, Europe’s largest salt water lagoon. With the many water sports that it has to offer, and its calm, warm, tranquil waters it is easy to see why the Mar Menor proves a popular location for families all year round.

Surrounding areas/activities :

Adjoining Campoverde is the spectacular Rio Seco nature reserve, which offers good walks along the dry river bed and through the gorges carved out by centuries of erosion. Near Rio Seco is a sports area with tennis courts, basketball, football and a large public swimming pool.There are many excellent blue flag beaches along the coast that are untouched by mass tourism, with the nearest being less than 15 minute drive from the villa.

The town of San Pedro (15mindrive) has a great market on Monday morning. There are regular fiestas in the town, the biggest taking place at Easter and in October, however it seems that there is something going on weekly throughout the summer months.

There are four excellent Golf Courses within a 20 minute drive of Campoverde, the nearest being Lo Romero, which sits on the edge of the village, a 2 minute drive away.

El Pinar de Campoverde together with the adjoining town of Pilar play host to many local fiestas throughout the year, as well as providing all amenities that one could need during a holiday stay such as:

"Fantastic villa(s) - the photos don't do them justice"
