Home description
There are about 4kms of sandy beaches stretching from El Mojon to Mil Palmeras, including a small, pretty cove at Torre de la Horadada where there is also a Marina. This is a 15 minute drive from the house.
There is a small street market on Sunday mornings. On the other side of the village is the famous Natural Area “Rio Seca” where you can walk along the (usually dry!) bed of the river, which has carved a spectacular gorge. Near Rio Seca there is also a new 20,000m2 sports area with several tennis courts, basketball, football and a large public swimming pool.
There are also tennis courts and a bar/restaurant with an open air pool, great for families, kids can play while parents enjoy sunbathing and perhaps a beer or two.
For golf enthusiasts there are several golf courses nearby Lo Romero is a brand new golf course between Pilar de la Horadada & Campoverde and is approximately a 10 minute drive from the villa (loromerogolf.com). Other golf courses include, Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Villa Martin and La Manga and are all within driving distance. (New Golf Course now finished in Pinar de Campoverde!)
From experience if you are looking for a family holiday/golfing holiday this is the place to go!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Climate is nice all year round ranging from 20 to 30 degrees. Also of interest: - Mediterranean 8 km - Mar Menor 12 km (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mar_Menor) - La Manga - next big cities: Torrevieja (16 km), Cartagena (35 km), Murcia (45 km), Alicante (70 km) Benidorm (80 km) - salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar declared a Nature Reserve and Regional Park - Lo Pagan on the Mar Menor (lesser sea) is best known for its therapeutic mud baths - the salt lakes around Torrevieja, Santa Pola and San Pedro - walk along the (usually dry!) bed of the river “Rio Seco” in the Natural Area in Pinar de Campoverde, which has carved a spectacular gorge - in summer there are lot of festivals in and all-around Pilar de la Horadada
Pilar de la Horadada / Pinar de Campoverde area
The nearest large town is Pilar de la Horadada with lots of nightlife for the youngsters, a very large market on a Friday night, lots of shops bars and restaurants
6-8 restaurants in our small village of Pinar de Campoverde, 2 x coffee shops, 2 x Chinese restaurants, 2 x supermarkets, one called Gama at the bottom of the village, selling all English products one called Kwik Save, top of village, doctors, small Sunday market, communal pool and tennis courts with football courts has well call the poliportivio at the bottom of the village highly recommended, for children. Bakery, internet café, Indian restaurant and karaoke bars all in walking distance.
How to get there
There are flights from all major UK airports to Alicante and Murcia: Airlines: BA, Easyjet, Monarch, Ryanair, Flybe, EU Jet. Alicante is 50 minutes drive from the house and Murcia is 15 minutes.

Conditions
All monies must be paid in full 4 weeks prior to rental.
We require 50% of the full cost on booking, to secure your reservation.
The balance is to be received by us, 8 weeks prior to your arrival in Spain. A further £30per person(inc children) security deposit will be required with your balance payment.
This amount will be returned to you at the end of your stay - within 2 weeks of the date of your departure, provided there are no damages during your stay.
We understand that there may be small accidents ie the odd cup or glass etc and as isolated incidents there will be no charge.
