Villa Pereza (means laziness) is a detached three bedroomed villa with 3 bath/shower rooms. Situated in the established area of Campoverde, with views over orange and lemon groves to the Mar Menor and Mediterranean.

Peaceful and private with 3/4 acre garden, it has its own private pool, air-conditioning (or warm air in winter) and English TV. There are five patios so plenty of space to relax or eat in shade or sun. Completely refurbished this year.

Good restaurants are within walking distance, and sporting facilities nearby include, golf, horse riding, water sports, walking and fishing.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The mineral rich waters of the Mar Menor have a saline content of 50% and are scientifically recognised as being therapeutic in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments. The mud is also believed by many to contain natural healing properties, particularly for skin complaints and many visitors and locals can be found having a mud bath to treat their ailments.

San Pedro del Pinatar is one of the main tourist destinations along this stretch of coast and the beach area of Lo Pagan offers many sea front bars and restaurants. The town has a marina that provides fishing, scuba diving and sailing opportunities.

San Pedro also boasts the Salt Works Nature Reserve, which is a unique Mediterranean coastal area. This is a great area for walking and bird watching as flamingos and other migratory birds nest here every year and use the reserve as a stopping place in their migrations between Europe and Africa. Nearby Torrevieja has great shopping and the old cities of Murcia, Cartagena are fascinating.

Pilar de la Horadada / Pinar de Campoverde area

El Pinar de Campoverde is a residential village situated 8km inland at the southern edge of the Costa Blanca on the border with the Costa Calida. It is an area of protected pine woodland surrounded by orange and lemon groves. Nearby can be found , golf courses (three within 20 min drive), the nature reserve of San Pedro and the salt-water lagoon of the Mar Menor with the many water sports that it has to offer.

Adjoining Campoverde is the spectacular Rio Seco nature reserve, which offers good walks along the dry river bed and through the gorges carved out by centuries of erosion. Near Rio Seco is a sports area with tennis courts, basketball, football and a large public swimming pool.There are many excellent blue flag beaches along the coast that are untouched by mass tourism, with the nearest being less than 15 minute drive from the villa.

Within 20 minutes of the villa is the famous Mar Menor, which is Europe’s largest salt water lagoon. Nearby San Pedro (15mindrive) has a great market on Monday morning. There are regular fiestas in the town, the biggest taking place at Easter and in October, however it seems that there is something going on weekly throughout the summer months.

How to get there

Alicante Airport is 1 hour's drive from the villa.

The nearest airport is Murcia which is 20 mins drive.

Satellite TV is available, there is air conditioning and fans for summer comfort, a log fire, central heating and cosy duvets in winter.

Within the grounds is a private pool, which measures 8m x 4m and has a safe children’s paddling pool at one end. The pool area has a large patio with a shower and a tiled table large enough to seat 8 people.

The villa offers five patio areas in total, two of which are permanently covered, so sun or shade can always be found whatever time of day. A rustic wooden table and benches are provided on the patio area outside of the kitchen, which also offers a large built in BBQ.

Other portable furniture including a table, chairs and sun beds are also available for use around the villa.

Conditions

20% deposit is required at time if booking and a refundable breakage deposit at time of balance payment.

A welcome pack is provided and the agents will be there to welcome clients on arrival, to settle them into the villa
