Riomar is located on the beautiful Blue Flag beach resort in Mil Palmeras, Costa Blanca. The resort is 20 minutes drive from Murcia Airport & 40 minutes drive from Alicante airport.

The 2 bed modern town house comprises of - LOUNGE / DINING AREA with a pull-out double sofa bed, flat screen TV, Play Station, computer, Bose Sound System ( your own computer will need to be connected) and dinning table to seat 6 - KITCHEN which is fully equiped - UTILITY AREA with washer and cloths horse - SHOWER ROOM / WC on the ground floor surronded by PRIVATE PATIO and well groomed GARDENS.

The second floor has TWO DOUBLE BEDROOMS and a FAMILY BATHROOM. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, bed side tables. The second bedroom has two single beds, fitted wardrobes, bed side table.

On the third floor there is a very impressive LARGE ROOF TERRACE with built in pergolla, and BBQ which makes this area ideal for both alfresco dinning and sunbathing. The roof terrace even has shower facilities.

The basment level is a secure resident only parking area and this house comes with its own PRIVATE GARAGE underneath.

The house is also FULLY AIRCONDITIONED (extra charges applicable) Just outside the property there is a residents only gated POOL with seperate CHILDRENS POOL & JACUZZI. There is also a CHILDRENS PLAY GROUND. The communal areas of the gated and secure development are home to landscaped gardens, play areas, pathways, large swimming pool, social club with lounge(with the use of wifi), games area, terrace, tennis courts, football pitch and basket ball court

The Valenciana region

The Costa Blanca is in the Province of Alicante. With its ragged mountainouus interiors and miles upon miles of glorious sandy beaches and subtropical vegetation, this is one of the most attractive and popular regions of Spain for visitors. It has many attractions that make it a popular destination for holidays, with its white sandy beaches streaching for miles and studded with palm trees under the hot 300 day per year sun one cannot find a better place to relax and enjoy.

A United Nations report advised that this is one of the healthiest places in the world.There are theme parks, safari parks, nauture reserves, fishing lakes, enchanting villages, caves, waterfalls, lively markets and many exiting fiestas with fireworks and fancy dress.

The region has deep rooted traditions, many of which are celebrated in grand style and although there are a few based on religious celebrations, generally a fiesta is a great excuse to eat, drink and be merry. That being said - don't expect an amature affair...much planning, organisation and skill goes into arranging the events with the result being a spectacular experience that you really wouldn't want to miss. The Spanish love an excuse to dress up, let off fireworks and party, so expect most of these fiestas to last for at least a few days.

For those looking for a night life, Downtown Benidorm is also located in the Costa Blanca area and is just a 45 minute car journey from the house allowing you to enjoy the excitement of Benidorm, but still alowing you to have a peacefull, stress free holiday whilst in Riomar.

A little closer to the house, just 20 mins away, you will also find the resort of Cabo Roig which has a lively night life, with its many bars and clubs open untill the early hours.

Furthur afield but within easy reach are - Torrevieja, Elche and Carteagena. Take time to explore this facinating region and you will not be disappointed.

Pilar De La Horadada

Both in Mil Palmeras town centre and in Torre de la Horadada, just a few minutes away on foot, you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists and a host of shops, restaurants and bars.

For the golfers there is the outstanding Real Club de Golf Campoamor, with 18 holes just 5 minutes from Riomar. Another two 18 -hole golf courses are also nearby - Las Ramblas and Villamartin.

Mil Palmeras takes its name from the beach where the fine golden sand is always guaranteed to be clean and tidy, with crystal clear waters, earning it the coveted European Blue Flag status.

The village has a plaza and great 'restaurant' alley which is full of international restaraunts specialising in there own cuisine. The livley JP's Bar is run by british expats who offer a very friendly service and a smile ( a family favourite of ours ) is also found in the plaza.

The promenade which runs the length of the beach takes you north to Dehesa de Campoamor or south to Torre de la Horadada.

Torre de la Horadada is easily recognisable by its watch tower built in years gone by to warn of impending attacks by pirates. It has a large village square, a couple of fine sandy beaches and and a quaint marina. The village centre has many cafes and resteraunts for you to enjoy.

Dehesa de campoamor has a very nice harbour and all the bars, shops and restaurants you would expect to find in a busy resort. There are also some nice beaches to be found here.

The bustling town of Pilar de la Horodada is the local Administrative Centre with the Tourist Office and is only 6km away. It has a traditional Spanish market in the centre on Friday's that deserves a visit, you can also enjoy the wide variety of, bars, shops, restaraunts and Tapas bars.

San Pedro is only 8km away with its fishing herritage, one of the best restaraunts in the whole of spain - "The Clock Tower" and the famous Mar Menor with its shallow sea water lagoon, where swimming is possible all year round due to the warm waters and people take the Mineral rich black mud treatment, that locas believe helps healing of ailments like Rheumatism, Arthritis and skin complaints. The area is a Nature Reserve, ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching or just simply relaxing in the sun whilst enjoying the varied international cuisine and wine from local Vin Yards.

The whole of the local area has a rich history and has been poulated for thousands of years.
