Tastefully furnished air conditioned house in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Pilar de la Horadada. The town centre shops, bars and restaurants are within a short walk and a supermarket is just around the corner. The house has a large patio garden with patio furniture and sun loungers, and roof top solarium. The communal pool is close to the house and is for residents only.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Situated on the south east coast of Spain, the Costa Blanca is well known for its white sandy beaches.This region has over 320 days of sunshine a year and is recognised by the World Health Organisation as having one of the best climates in the world. As well as beautiful beaches the area has has a wealth of historical towns, nature reserves,golf courses and scenery.
Pilar de la Horadada area
Pilar de la Horadada is the southernmost town in the Alicante province and has 4 kms of beautiful sandy beaches which regularly receive the blue flag award of excellence. The lovely seaside village of Torre de la Horadada with its marina is only a couple of minutes by car as are the beautiful beaches. During the summer months the beach bars are open where you can enjoy tapas and sangria. There are a number of golf courses close by. The nearest one is the newly opened 18 hole Lo Romero Golf which is just a 5 minute drive from the house, visit the web site at www.loromerogolf.com. Other courses within 30 minutes are Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas. For those who enjoy shopping there is Dos Mares, an indoor mall just 10 minutes drive. The historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena are about an hours drive and well worth a visit. The local market comes to Pilar on a Friday evening (4 til 8) and is popular with both locals and tourists. You can purchase all the locally grown fruit, vegetables and as many clothes and shoes as you can carry. Closeby is Pinar de Campoverde and the famous natural area" Rio Seco" where you can stroll along the dry river bed and view the spectacular gorge. A 10 minute drive to the south of Pilar is the Mar Menor, the inland sea, with its mud baths and salt lakes and 30 minutes drive north will bring you to the bustling town of Torrevieja. All amenities are on your door step and there is an excellent bus service so whilst a car is not essential we would recommend hiring one to fully explore the surrounding areas.

Further details indoors: Our house is a home from home with everything provided for your comfort and convenience.There is 1bedroom available for guests which can either be used with twin beds or a king size bed. There is a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs. Air conditioning (essential in the summer months) is provided to both bedrooms and the lounge. This also provides heating in the cooler winter months. There is a large separate kitchen with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Full satellite TV package.
Further details outdoors: There is plenty of outdoor space with patio furniture as well as parking for a car. The communal pool is for residents use only . As this is only a small developement you may well have this to yourselves much of the time. Total privacy can be found on the rooftop solarium where you can achieve an all over tan!
