About the home

We are pleased to offer this beautiful spacious 1 bedroom first floor apartment for rent. Ideally situated for those who want to get away for a quiet holiday.

This first floor apartment is only 10 minute walk from the sea and 10 minute drive from Cabo Roig, Villamartin and Torrevieja where you will find a varied selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The towns have a number of bars, restaurants, clubs, shops etc. Plus lovely promenades, several beaches, street markets and a marina.

In the main area of this Air- Conditioned apartment you will find living room which seats 5 with a separate dining table and chairs and for entertainment there is a tv, dvd, cd player, radio, along with books and games. The 3 steater bed settee will sleep two adults and there is a further single bed which can sleep a fifth person.

Kitchen: The kitchen comes fully equipped with washing machine, with fridge/freezer, iron and board, toaster, microwave, kettle, a small oven and gas and electric hobs. All utensils and crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect.

The swimming pool has an adult pool and a paddling pool for children, and is in a lawned area, a minutes walk from the apartment. The local beach is a 500 yard (metres), 10 minute walk away, there are plenty of bars on hand for that pre and after dinner drinks with some offering nightly entertainment.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Pilar de la Horadada has four kilometres of beaches contrast with its cultivated lands of vegetables and fruit trees, as well as with nature in its purest state, with animal species not often seen in other areas of Spain. The town has a coastline of fine sand and clear water interspersed by attractive inlets and beaches with a full range of services between small residential districts and extensive green areas. From the north to the south, the popular, urban beach Mil Palmeras, ideal for sailing enthusiasts, links up with the Rincón and Puerto inlets, the latter with a well-cared for promenade that comes alive on hot summer nights.

Las Villas, the beach behind Torre Horadada marina, is the longest beach followed by small beach at La Mojón which constitutes a natural boundary with Murcia. The river Seco is a ravine network that receives water filtrating from off of the fields. This peculiar environment is worthy of an excursion and is one on which visitors can enjoy fragrant plants such as rosemary, thyme or "lentiscos", while white steppes and "palmettoes" border rushes and carrizales. The trail begins at El Pinar de Campoverde, a natural area that has lodgings, a camping area, a play area and informative panels explaining the flora and fauna of the region, as well as facilities for barbecues.

Another attractive tour is the water architecture route, on which it is possible to find cisterns and old wells

This location is not only perfect for golfers and lovers of the seaside, it is also an ideal touring base from which to explore the whole of southern Spain. The new motorway AP7 is less than 5 minutes away and the main coast road, N332 around 3 minutes. The nearest airport, Murcia San Xavier is just 10 minutes drive away and reached directly via the AP7 or N332. Alicante airport is around 45 minutes on the AP7 or N332.The nearest major town is Torrevieja, still a working fishing port and marina and heart of the region’s historic sea salt industry. It also offers attractive beaches and promenades, varied and lively shops and restaurants, interesting places to visit and, reputedly, one of the world’s healthiest micro-climates, making it suitable for people of all ages and interests.

Good local shops and bar/restaurants, including an internet cafe, and there are many more shops and bars within quick and easy walking distance, including a large sports bar with swimming pool, supermarket and a choice of banks. But car hire is recommended to get the most out of your visit. Local taxis, although good, are the only form of public transport.

“Ticked all the box's for myself, husband and 3 children” Super apartment with all facilities, in nice low rise, quiet area. Clean apartment with all mod con's, wi-fi, tv, video.. Fantastic communal pool, spotless and well maintained. Nice views from balcony and solarium. Easy access to local restaurants, supermarkets and nice bars. Selection of great beaches 10 min away in car. Would recommend to golfers, sun lovers alike. Will definitely go back to 501 Las Ramblas.

The property will be cleaned to a high standard and fresh bed linen, bath towels, hand towels are provided.

We can also supply cot and Highchair hire at 20 euro a week each.
