Our gorgeous 2 storey bungalow is our pride and joy, we have spent many fantastic holidays here and we are sure you will too. Our holiday home will appeal to families, couples and golfers. Just a short walk away is the fantastic blue flag sandy beach of Mill Palmeras where you can happily spend the whole day relaxing and recharging your batteries on your well earned break. We think this is one of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca which is one of the reasons we bought here. The other is that our area has a village atmosphere and isn't as built up as other areas along the Costa Blanca such as Torrevieja.
Dotted along our beach front are numerous inexpensive bars and restaurants. There are also, banks, supermarkets and internet cafes. Just 10 minutes away are the fantastic golf courses of Las Ramblas, Campoamor, Villamartin and , my personal favourite, the new Lo Romero.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca, or White Coast as it is aptly named has some of the best beaches in Spain. Just South of Torrevieja, where our holiday home is, there are many great beaches such as La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig and Mill Palmeras. Bring a picnic and your sun tan lotion and you're set for the day. Torrevieja is a popular place for English-speaking people to take a holiday.
The weather in Mil Palmeras is typically warm and sunny all year round and the resort enjoys a fine Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters and experiences over 300 days of sunshine each year, making it an ideal location for a holiday.
The beaches at Torrevieja include Playa los Locos, Playa del Cura, Playa Naufragos and Playa del Acequion, all along the coast of Torrevieja town. Just South of our home is the Mar Menor which has some great beaches and is really popular with sailing and water sports enthusiasts. There is a regular bus service from Mil Palmeras to Torrevieja. Unless you are just here to relax and enjoy the beach, we suggest you hire a car as there is so much more to see and do along this coastline.
Pilar de la Horadada / Mil Palmeras area
Mil Palmeras (the thousand Palms) has a history dating back to Roman times, although much of the present town was built in the 1980s. It is also the area which marks the limit of the Arab invasion of Spain in mediaeval times.
The most southerly resort on the Orihuela Costa stretch of the southern Costa Blanca, Spain, Mil Palmeras is a popular and beautiful coastal resort with some fine sandy beaches. The main beach, Playa Mil Palmeras has fine white sand and the usual range of facilities, the more adventurous will find numerous rocky coves and bays with very few visitors except during the very busy months. To the south of Mil Palmeras lies the small town of Torre de la Horadada, then Pilar de la Horadada and beyond that the Mar Menor and the beautiful Costa Calida coastline of the Murcia region of Spain. To the north you will find all the popular resorts of the Orihuela Costa, Campoamor, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima and beyond these, Torrevieja and Alicante. Mil Palmeras is located on the N-332 coast road is easily reached from both Murcia (San Javier) airport (about 15 minutes drive) and Alicante airport (45 minutes drive) by way of the AP-7 motorway.
Nearby Pilar de la Horadada has a church dating from 1899, and a museum containing local exhibits including ancient coins and fossils, domestic and agricultural implements and information on the flora and fauna of the area. Torre de la Horadada As well as modern plazas, with restaurants and bars, Torre de la Horadada has a marina and nice promenade to walk along in the warm evenings.
How to get there
Fly into Alicante or Murcia. Our holiday home is just 45 minute from Alicante airport or 15 minutes from Murcia airport. Many budget airlines fly to these destinations including Ryanair, Easyjet, Flybe and Jet2. A good search site is skyscanner.com.
We can arrange airport transfers for you but if you would like a car to rent I would suggest carjet or economycar, both are good sites.

Further details indoors: As you enter our bungalow into the lounge/dining room their is a brand new sofa bed on your right. At the far end is the fitted kitchen, which has all the cooking utensils you could require whilst on holiday here. The washing machine is here as well. Upstairs leads to our newly fitted shower room, and next to this is the master bedroom with a kingsize bed and patio doors leading through to the upstairs terrace.
Further details outdoors: Outside we have 2 terraces, 1 upstairs off the bedroom, and a large solarium and terrace downstairs with patio furniture and a bbq. What better way to spend a warm evening than to relax with a glass of wine on the terrace whilst cooking your favourite skewers on the bbq.
