Walking in the alps is also popular in this area of Italy and the food is some of the best that Italy has to offer…simple, fresh, rustic cuisine to satisfy the most discerning of pallets. A new Piazza has been created just outside the historic city walls of Medieval Pietrasanta within walking distance of the many exquisite restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries and the old town square.
How to get there
Pisa is the nearest airport to fly to for this property. (Bologna, Florence & Genoa are also within reasonable distance). The journey from the airport can be made either by hire car, taxi or train in to Pietrasanta station. Bridgewater can arrange bike hire and beach club membership prior to departure as well as other 'Finishing Touches' such as hampers etc.
Pisa airport is well serviced by the majority of lowcost airlines from all around the UK, flycheapo.com have a timetable of which low cost airlines fly where. The villa is only around 30km from the airport. Most car hire companies have desks at Pisa airport and good deals are available. A good tip is for one person to go straight to the car hire desk whilst others wait for the luggage - this way you beat the queues!
