Villa | 5 bedrooms | sleeps 10

Key Info
  • Great for children of all ages
  • Car advised
  • Some pets are welcome - please contact the owner

We're excited to introduce this wonderful typical Tuscan villa, it ticks all the boxes, it's incredibly old with heaps of character, yet has just been renovated to the highest spec, in a breathtaking location just a short drive from one of our favourite towns, Pienza (UNESCO Heritage Site) and Montepulciano.

With huge glass doors this self-catering villa is flooded with light and has a great feeling of space and comfort inside due to its simple open plan nature of the living-dining areas. There is a traditional tuscan-style kitchen with a large farmhouse table which will make you quickly feel right at home...perfect for spreading out the walking maps or Sunday papers!

There are two armchairs and a sofa in front of the fire, which will ensure you keep cosy at night; but in summer time, after a day spent under the Tuscan sun, you will enjoy this room since it is the coolest of the house! In summer the best place to have your dinners is the courtyard, with a covered patio furnished with table, chairs, loungers and even a bread-pizza oven.

You can't get more Italian than that! There are two bedrooms (a double and a twin/double) on the ground floor, and three bedrooms (two double and a twin/double) upstairs, they are all tastefully decorated and furnished with antiques, and what's more important all have en-suite bathrooms!

Outside there are hectares of space to play in, sun worshippers will enjoy the garden by the infinity pool with glorious views of the countryside towards Pienza. In the evenings, you may be tempted by the enchanting little hill towns of Pienza or Montepulciano, where you can choose between simple but delicious osterias or Michelin-starred posher restaurants...
