Pezenas / Margon area
Margon: Château de Margon, dates from the 11th century. This splendid feudal castle is the best preserved in the Hérault region. Margon has a village shop, bar, hotel and 2 restaurants.
Nearby Roujan has a variety of shops including baker, butcher, Spar, Post Office, bank, chemist, doctors, cafes, restaurants and newsagents supplying UK daily papers.
Pézenas, with its medieval quarter, supermarkets and large open air market is 11 minutes by car.

Airports within 1h30: Perpignan, Montpellier, Carcassonne, Nîmes; Toulouse and Girona (Spain) 2h30.
Ryanair fly daily from Bristol to Béziers; East Midlands to Nîmes, Carcassonne & Girona (Spain); Stanstead to Perpignan, Carcassonne, Nîmes & Montpellier. Look for bargain offers especially in low season.
British Airways fly Gatwick to Montpellier.
Eurostar-Waterloo to Montpellier and Béziers via Paris or Lille. The latter is easier;
By road from Calais, try the A75 (partly toll free) via Clermont Ferrand.

Dining lounge. The dining area with table, chairs and dresser has a large picture window looking onto the pool. The lounge area is comfortably furnished with sofas, armchairs, coffee table, satellite TV and DVD. A patio door leads onto a partly covered patio. Ideal for outside dining. Garden furniture provided.
All electric kitchen with breakfast bar, microwave, oven & hob, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The kitchen leads into pool room housing the 6 m pool heated to 30°C (Note: not deep enough for diving)
Utility room has iron, washing machine, etc. Cool box and melamine tableware provided for picnics. Double glazing and electric radiators providing year round comfort.

Further details outdoors: Situated on the outskirts of the small village of Margon; 11 minutes by car from Pézenas + 30 minutes from the sea. The bungalow, completed end of 2007, is set in its own pretty walled garden, with trees and flowering shrubs, a 5 minutes walk to village square.
