Plenty of alfresco dining and seating areas abound for relaxing and private sunbathing. Library /snug area with writing desk.

La Pinede is located at the top of the hill overlooking the village Neffies with panoramic views of the other 3 surrounding villages. As you enter La Pinede through the entrance gates you drive onto the large private parking area with enough parking for 6 cars. The large garden (about an acre) is very private with plenty of trees, olives, almonds, mimosa, oleander and Mediterranean pines and sweet smelling floral areas for full privacy or space and fields for children to play.
This totally private villa is also surrounded by sun decking and sun terraces. Sun loungers, bistro tables and comfy chairs for relaxing around the villa and pool area.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Herault region
The Languedoc is the largest wine producing area of France so vineyards abound and also renowned for it's sunny Mediterranean beaches which lie just 25 km away. The area offers lovely beaches with beach front restaurants which epitomize the glamour and sparkle of summer in the South of France. The countryside is green and verdant where wine tasting and local festivals abound. For the more simple pleasures river swimming or canoeing is within 10 minutes drive. This area has everything beaches, delightful countryside and historic towns such as " Pezenas" often called the "Versailles" of Languedoc, is just 10 km away with its winding streets, period architecture, boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Or try Agde on the river Herault, a Phoenician port or marinas of Cap d'Agde for water sports, boat trips, water park, go-carting, golf, restaurants and people watching.
The cities of Beziers & Montpellier offer excellent shopping and culture.
Beziers has one of the best flower market along the Mediterranean coastline, plus the 4 day "Feria" Festival in August.
Sete is famous for water jousting, market, boat trips and is known as the Venice of the South.
Wine tasting/degustation is available and even expected at most domaines and caveaux throughout this friendly Languedoc region.
The beautiful Lac Salagou is perfect for freshwater swimming and non motorized water sports.
The Gorges d'Heric in the Languedoc National park is just a few minutes drive away and offers fantastic scenery and is a perfect walking country.
Head along the coast and marvel at the pink flamingoes and the wild white horses in the Carmargue area.
Do not miss the ancient fortified city of Carcassonne the best medieval city in Europe.
If you want to do something different then Spain is just 90 minutes away. We recommend you visit the famous Dali Museum in Figueras and then enjoy his favorite summer resort village of Cadaques
The Pezenas / Neffies area
The village of Neffies has a super friendly bar, really excellent restaurant, grocery, store bakery, hairdresser and tabac. In Neffies there are two caveaux to sample the excellent local wines, all within walking distance. Beaches, golf, walking, river swimming and cycling (even the Tour de France) are all available within minutes of La Pinede.
The wonderful town of Pezenas is a 8 minutes drive with its outside cafes and restaurants and it's meandering medieval streets. Pezenas offers a myriad of unusual boutiques and galleries. The Saturday market is really a must, captivating the sights and aromas of local products and characters.

The nearest international airport to Neffies/Pezenas is Beziers/Cap d'Agde International. Ryanair flies from Bristol, Luton & Stansted to Beziers/Cap d'Agde. Ryanair also flies from Stanstead to Montpellier just 40 min from Neffies, plus to Perpignan and Carcassone (approx 1 hour to the resort) and Nimes Airport. This area is easily accessible from many airports throughout the UK and Ireland. Easyjet also flies into Montpellier from Gatwick. All major car hire/rental operators are located at the airports. An excellent motorway, with links to Paris, Marseille and Barcelona - is just a 20 min drive away. After arriving at villa "La Pinede" in Neffies local amenities are within walking distance.
