Maison Rose Clair
About the home
Charming maison with the most spectacular roof terrace you have ever seen, in a medieval hilltop village. The terrace is completely private, so you can sunbathe in complete, glorious seclusion, relaxing on a comfy chaise on its tiled floor, hidden behind its pretty walls.
Stand up, and the view over those walls is stunning, as you can see for miles over the surrounding rolling hills and vineyards. The terrace is huge, covering the entire roof of the house, and equipped with a built-in stone BBQ, so you can while away a whole day up there, under the bright blue Mediterranean sky. This extraordinary house is located in Languedoc, the area known as the "real south of France."
Just 15 minutes to white sand Mediterranean beaches, Maison Rose-Clair is fully renovated, comfortable, and sunny, with everything you need for an unforgettable, authentic French holiday, including a large country kitchen, sleeping space for six in two bedrooms and a salon with pullout couch, a full bathroom plus a half bathroom, and tiled floors and big windows throughout.
Cool in summer, warm in winter, it has all the amenities, including free WIFI, a printer for your use, free phone calls to Europe and North America, new flat screen TV, DVD, CD player and books and board games. New washer and dryer, gas stove, fridge, cappuccino maker, toaster, microwave, etc. For those with limited mobility, it is partially accessible - please ask for details - we can also offer advice about accessible beaches, etc in the area.
The gorgeous roof terrace, with stunning views of vineyards, the village and a meandering river, is equipped with a stone BBQ, and has the privacy for an intimate couples' dinner, and the space for a big family get-together. Spacious, pretty and clean, the maison is in a region famous for its fine wines, fresh food markets, ancient abbeys, and awe-inspiring natural beauty, where the sun shines 300 days of the year. H
ike or mountain bike through the vine-covered hills right from your door, cycle country roads to surrounding village markets, swim in the warm, clean river that runs past the village, or head to the nearby Mediterranean beaches, explore nearby ancient treasures like the Canal du Midi and the cathedral of Beziers, go antiquing in the perfectly preserved streets of the bustling medieval town of Pezenas, the home of Moliere.
