Villa Rose is set in its own grounds of 2000 sq.m at the end of a quiet lane, but only a two minute walk from the centre of the historic village of Margon, with its own beautiful chateau - there are two restaurants in the village and all other normal amenities are just a 5 minute drive away. The panoramic views from the villa and gardens are of the beautiful Languedoc vineyards. The attractive old town of Pézenas is just 15 minutes by car and the two of the nearest beaches are Meze and Valras Plage –only a 30 minute drive away. This villa is not suitable for children under the age of 10 years.

Ground floor: A very spacious living room with French doors to the front and rear of the house, three large sofas and two other chairs.
A very large fully fitted modern kitchen/dining-room with everything one could need. Dishwasher, fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven and a microwave. The dining area has a large oak table and chairs and French doors opening onto the terrace with an electric awning. A separate utility room contains fridge/freezer (making two in total available in the villa) and a washing machine. There is also a toilet complete with hand basin available on the ground floor.
First floor: Three bedrooms, two spacious doubles one with en-suite shower room and one twin-bedded room; a large bathroom with bath and walk in shower, toilet and hand basin.
Further details outdoors:
The picturesque and private terraces have tables, chairs and parasols for al fresco eating and plenty of sun loungers by the pool. A charcoal kettle BBQ. The gardens are mostly laid out with mature Mediterranean trees and plants. The large pool (10m x 5m) has roman steps and security alarm; it is 1.2m at the shallow end and 2m at the deep end. The front drive has parking for two + cars.

Bed linen, bath towels, beach towels and tea towels are provided and renewed weekly.
The English speaking owner is sometimes in residence in a connected studio flat but Villa Rose guests have total privacy and exclusive use of the villa, pool and terraces

The nearest large train station to Margon is Béziers - 25 minutes away.
By road: From Calais, try the toll-free A75 from Clermont Ferrand to Pézenas (apart from a small too to cross the Millau Viaduct)

This was the best holiday in a very long time ... The lady that owed it met us on arrival she was so helpful explained everything we needed to know and even on nights out included us is events in and around the area! It is a fantastic place to play golf and meet some lovely real French people and practice our French.... The Villa was the best I have stayed in for a very long time.. so clean and your every need catered for.. The Views are over looking the vine field's fig trees and pure peace the view was the high light of the holiday when lazing around in the Pool it was heaven... I'm so pleased with everything that I'm booked already to go again! Thanks Gabrielle for a lovely time see you soooon ! xX |
