We have just returned from a marvellous stay at La Maison du Coin. The house is an historic delight with every amenity at hand. The hosts are a wonderful couple who want nothing more than for their guests to have an enjoyable stay in their beautiful property. We particularly enjoyed exploring the charmingly historic, mainly pedestrianised streets where the atmosphere changes between tranquil and vibrant as the day drifts on. La Maison du Coin is in a peaceful spot with only the sound of bird song to awaken you in the morning Yet within a few moments one can be in the heart of the retail and artisan areas where the locals are utterly charming and welcoming, patiently conversing with us and helping us to practice our very poor French. The local produce, from breads and cheeses, fruit and shellfish are superb and there are numerous delightful eateries to tempt all palates. We hope to return to La Maison Du Coin very soon. |
