Home description

This recently completed, privately owned resort has been finished to a high standard with beautifully landscaped gardens, two large swimming pools, Jacuzzi/hot tub, sauna, indoor gym and changing facilities/WC's in the communal area.

The apartment is on the ground floor,no stairs to negotiate, with direct access to the poolside and has been well appointed and furnished to provide home from home comforts including full air conditioning, flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD/CD players, fully equipped kitchen, lounge with 2 sofas/beds, dining area that seats 6, patios with table and chairs for that all important al fresco dining and sun loungers and large parasol for around the pool.

The Andriana Exclusive Resort is situated in the delightful, typical Greek village of Pegeia (Peyia). The village centre with its traditional old square and Church (a short drive or 15 min walk) boasts a growing number of bars where you can join the locals for a drink (some with WiFi), many popular tavernas that offer wonderful home cooked Greek specialities and even a take-away that will deliver if you just feel like chilling out. For your shopping needs, there are several supermarkets, banks, a butcher, fishmonger and bakeries in the village centre and a new supermarket, bank and bakery a shorter walk away on the road into the village.

Just 5 minutes drive away lie the blue-flag beaches of Coral Bay with its’ parade of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a taxi service here should you wish to leave the car at ‘home’ and enjoy a drink. The harbour of Kato Paphos and Paphos town with all its’ amenities and heritage sites is about 20 minutes by car.

The Paphos District

Upto 340 days of sunshine a year makes Cyprus one of the most desirable all year round destinations in Europe. The town of Paphos, situated on the west coast, has developed over the years from a sleepy fishing village into a bustling cosmopolitan tourist resort centred around Kato Paphos and its harbour with stunning sea views and many shops, bars and restaurants.

For those who enjoy a taste of culture, Paphos has many historical sites to offer such as the Harbour Castle, Tomb of the Kings, Aphrodite's Rock and Temple, St. Paul's Church to name but a few. Activities in the area for families are numerous and include Paphos Water Park, Bird and Reptile Parks, go karting, mini golf, boat trips and an array of watersports including sailing, diving and snorkelling trips.

There are a number of excellent golf courses in the district within upto a 40 mins. drive, most of which are open to the public, such as Aphrodite Hills, a five star Gold resort, Secret Valley and Tsada in the hills above Paphos.


Peyia area

The charming village of Pegeia (Peyia) lies on a sloping hill with fabulous views of Coral Bay and the surrounding area. The village, which is a mix of new build and traditional old houses centred round a square and imposing Church, has a large number of bars and tavernas offering local hospitality and Cypriot specialities, some, such as 'Sawas Grill', even have Greek dancing for the more energetic amongst us.

There are several supermarkets, the most popular being 'Philippos' behind the Church, a butcher supplying locally prepared meats, a fishmongers and a couple of bakeries including 'Constaninides' which sells the most delicious cakes and pastries.

The blue-flag beaches of Coral Bay are a 5 minutes drive from Peyia. As well as beautiful beaches with watersports including pedalos, banana rides and jet skiing, the area offers a bustling promenade of shops, bars and both Cypriot and cosmopolitan restaurants. Several of the larger hotels in Coral Bay also have health spas for those looking for some pampering.

To the west of Peyia lies the Akamas Peninsular, an unspoilt area of outstanding natural beauty including Lara Beach which is famous for its turtles. The area is ideal for walkers and mountain bikers (especially in the cooler winter months) and there are guided tours and bike hire available. To escape the hustle and bustle even further, why not head up to the Troodos Mountains, just over and hours drive away, and explore the rough terrain, enjoy the beautiful views and even ski during December.

The apartment has been furnished to accommodate 4 people comfortably but can sleep upto 6 on sofa beds.

The open plan living area comprises kitchen, lounge and dining area. The fully fitted kitchen features granite worktops, fan oven, ceramic hob, extractor, microwave, toaster, fridge freezer(includes freezer blocks/bag), washing machine, filtered drinking water, iron and ironing board. The living area has a glass top table and 6 chairs, 2 comfortable sofas/sofa beds, coffee and side tables, a TV unit and flat screen TV with satellite channels, DVD and CD players. There is also a small selection of DVDs for your use, information pack and maps.

The 2 double bedrooms are furnished with two single beds in each, fitted wardrobes (one with a safe), chests of draws, mirrors and hairdryer, occasional chairs, hotel quality bed linen and black-out blinds as well as curtains. The fully tiled bathroom has an over bath shower. Bath and hand towels are included but not beach towels.

The living area and both bedrooms are fitted with remote controlled air conditioning units with heating option for winter use. The apartment is also equipped with a smoke alarm, fire blanket, torch and basic first aid kits.

Further details outdoors:
The lounge and one of the bedrooms lead out via patio doors onto separate terraces with a table and chairs, a utility cupboard with clothes dryer/cleaning equipment and 4 sun loungers and large parasol for use around the pool areas.

The apartment faces onto the central area of landscaped gardens with two large unsupervised swimming pools with poolside showers and sun terraces which can be easily accessed directly from our apartments. There is ample parking available, including an underground car park.
