The Paphos District
Paphos the birth place of Aphrodite the Greek Goddess of love and beauty is entwined in Greek mythology. It has all the restaurants and night-life that you would expect from a modern tourist town but also offers access to the ancient cultural heritage sights and modern tourist attractions.
The focal point is the picturesque little harbour packed with yachts and pleasure boats and smattering of fishing boats. This is the place to come for morning coffee, lunch or an evening stroll.
There are several beaches within the district including the beach in Kato Paphos and a little further out is Faros beach, which are best reached by car.

Paphos has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage sight because of all its ancient sights and history.
Peyia / Peyia Village area
The apartment is located on the hillside above the village of Peyia within 10 mins walk. Today, Peyia retains its charms but has grown up to be a very vibrant and welcoming large village, whose population is a mix of many nationalities; the most of whom are Cypriot or UK ex pats! Many tourists choose to stay, to enjoy a taste of traditional Cypriot welcome, mixed with the many, more modern western ways they've become accustomed to.
It is a short drive to the safe and sandy beaches of Coral Bay ideal for families. Coral Bay provides access to all the usual beach and water sports activities together with having a large selection of bars and restaurants.
In addition, it has easy access to the Akamas Peninsula with its turtle breeding sanctuary and natural flora and fauna. On the northern side there are the Baths of Aphrodite supposed source of fertility and the Fountain of Love. The myth is that if you drink the water from the spring of Aphrodite the first person you see, you fall in love with! Therefore, make sure you know who is around you! We cannot be held accountable for what happens next!

Flight Information:
The nearest airport is Paphos, which is 35 mins (25 km), drive away. Airlines serving Paphos are, British Airways, Monarch, Easy Jet, Thomas Cook, Globespan and Thomson and schedule flights with Cyprus Airways.
Larnica Airport is approximately 90 mins away.
