The Paphos District
Paphos is located at the South West end of the island and is one of the largest and most established tourist resorts in Cyprus. Steeped in History and surrounded by preserved archaeological sites Paphos with its pretty harbour area and year round sunshine attracts visitors from across Europe.
A popular holiday location with families, Paphos offers a wide range of holiday activities whether you are looking for culture and history, family fun activities or just to relax on a beach and enjoy good nights out it has something for everyone.
The centre of Paphos town is divided between the newly regenerated Kato Paphos tourist harbour area, lined with chic street cafes and fresh sea food restaurants by day and a lively night-life in the bar street area by night. The old part of Kato Paphos is full of old windy streets and traditional buildings with covered fruit and gift markets to browse around and enjoy stunning views over Paphos.
For the Golf enthusiasts you can choose from three very respected Golf Courses which include the famous Five Star Aphrodites Hills course and Secret Valley both just ten mintues outside of central Paphos.
Peyia area
Set up on a gently sloping hillside Peyia is a very popular and charming village situated overlooking Coral Bay. The village retains much of its traditional stone Greek village houses and little winding streets with a very pretty stone church and a good selection of shops at the centre including banks, doctors, two supermarkets, a fantastic bakery, butchers, fishmongers, DVD shop and launderette.
It also offers a good selection of traditional tavernas where you can try the local fish or meat meze, or you can try Sophies that offers themed food evenings throughout the week. Ideally located just a few KM from several very good beaches it is a great location for families looking for a family friendly self catering base from which to explore the local area.

Paphos International airport is the closest and transfer time would be approx 35 minutes.
Larnaca International Aiport offers a wider choice of low cost flights and a transfer time of 1 hour 45.
