The Paphos District
Paphos is the former capital of Cyprus, featuring many sites of historical interest. Peyia is a traditional hillside village but with modern amenities.
The surrounding area is full of things to cater for a wide range of interests - such as walking, cycling, driving, beaches, golf, water sports and other sporting facilities. There is beautiful countryside nearby, including the Akamas Peninsular.
The Troodos Mountains, including the skiing areas, are easily accessible as are many traditional villages. The beaches at Coral Bay are 10 minutes away with those at Latchi only 30 minutes away, along a scenic road.
Coastal drives to Akamas and to Limassol are also very worthwhile.
Peyia area
Peyia village has most amenities with more choice at nearby Coral Bay. The area in and around the village is great for walking and sampling the "Greek" atmosphere of Western Cyprus. Life is relaxing here but lively nightlife is on hand at nearby Coral Bay. A great base for the area.
The village has a modern football stadium and the local village team APOP currently play in the Cyprus top division. They are the Cup holders and appearred in the UEFA cup in September 2009. Cyprus football is an experience not to be missed!

- Apartment is 40 minutes by car from Paphos International Airport
- Several Airlines fly from UK - including Thomas Cook, Easy Jet, Cyprus Air, BA etc
- Car Hire readily available at airport, can be booked on-line through such as Avis, Holiday Autos, Hertz, or as an addition when booking flights (eg Thomas Cook, Easy Jet )
- Car is recommended for stay but we can arrange transfers if required
