About the home

This villa is ideal for 1-2 families, as there are 2 kingsize ansd 4 single beds. It is very close to all ameneties (4 mins walk to nearest convenience store and 15 mins to half a dozen bars/restaurtants). The villa provides everything you need for luxurious living including the highest quality furnishings, king size beds, SKY 42" plasma TV, DVD and wireless surround sound system, american style fridge/freezer with water/ice dispenser, numerous DVDs, books and games for indoors as well as the garden and pool. Top of the range water filtering for drinking water and In particular, the pool is designed to allow water volleyball with a large net (provided) across the width of the entire pool. Great fun at any age! The pool is 5ft at the deepest, so is safer for non swimmers, and children. The decking area has a sunken hot tub, seating for 6!! Great for all year round and star gazing while sipping on champagne(why not).
The ground and roof terraces are all covered and fully furnished with tables and chairs if you need shade and there are 8 loungers with large parasols too. Importantly, the villa is large and airy and the wide walkways give a cool feel in an often hot climate. Full air conditioning in every room and underfloor heating for the winter.
The villa is also suitable for anyone who has disabilities as the living and bedroom areas are all on the ground floor.

Recently installed water filtering and purification system allows you to drink the water and use ice from the ice-maker without any fear of tummy bugs etc. We have recently added another shaded area for dining or just taking a break form the sun (not shown in the existing pictures). The villa has great privacy which is important to us when we go on holiday too.(no one can overlook you while sunbathing or in the pool).

Overall we think you'll be hard pressed to find a better 4 bed villa in Cyprus for luxury, views and value for money. It is our feeling that there are only two places to stay where you can be relaxed and comfortable in an informal atmosphere - your home and ours. Welcome to ours.

The heated 10m x 5m pool is perfect for all year round swimming and was designed with games in mind. A large water volleyball net is supplied and stretches across the width of the pool and Spa. The Spa overflows into the pool. Tropical feel with 4 large palm trees in the garden. Here is what the last handful of people said about the villa - "

We also did the Chinese,Indian, Japanese, Italian and the Elephant.Not a bad meal in any. All in all a holiday my family and I thought really perfect,and if we decide to go back in the near future would very much like to re-book your villa."
Your villa is spectacular and both very well equipped and very well appointed. We particularly enjoyed the pool / jacuzzi and the stunning views over the ocean and, of course, watching the magical sunsets from the roof terrace. The attention to detail and creature comforts were like none we’ve experienced when we’ve rented before – the air conditioning, the comfy sofas, Sky TV / surround sound, (oh, and an amazing fridge!) – we could go on, but we’re sure you get the picture! We’ve rented villas on several occasions and yours was by far the best in absolutely all aspects.
We got back on Saturday evening having had the most superb time. It was our first experience of Cyprus - and it definitely won’t be our last – we both agreed that it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we’ve had. The weather was great; high 20s / low 30s every day, with just a little (welcome!) cloud now and again. Not bad for October; we practically froze in Tenerife in late March!

Further details

There will be a welcome pack on arrival at the villa which will provide all the essentials, particularly useful if the shops are closed when you arrive! There is also maid coverage each week for those staying for 2 weeks or more. There are no separate charges for air conditioning at the villa, it's all built into the weekly rental price. We provide details before arrival of the best beaches & restaurants to go to and are happy to advise on any other matters - feel free to call us!

Conditions

Refundable breakage deposit of GBP250 plus 40% payment required on booking confirmation, with remainder payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Keys and directions will be sent 2 weeks before your departure and please return the keys as soon as possible when you get back to the UK.

Great for evening entertaining

The Paphos region

As most will know by now, Cyprus has a warm climate for at least 9 or 10 months of the year and is a perfect retreat for winter 'get away from it all' holidays too. 40 degrees celsius is not unheard of in the peak of the season (July/August). The main season runs from May to October but sunbathing in January is absolutely recommended too!
The main beaches are pretty well populated in peak season although there is always space for everyone. If you have a car, there are some very secluded places you can go - just email or call and ask about these.

The Peyia / Peyia Sea Caves area

One of the prettiest local villages, Peyia has all that you would expect in the way of Banks, shops, bars and taverns and great sea views from the hills. There are more bars and restaurants in Coral Bay if you want something more active and Agious Georgiou is only 4 kms away if you want complete peace and quiet whilst sitting at the sea shore in a large dining area. There are many more very local places to go, including those that you can walk to, so feel free to ask as we are happy to talk about this beautiful area.
If you have young kids, there's a go-kart track very close (2kms) and a small amusement park with restaurant in Coral Bay. Waterparks, golf and many other activities are all within 20 minutes drive.

Flying into Paphos is easiest/quickest - our villa is 30 minutes from the airport and 2 hours drive if you land in Larnaca.
Flights are available from the majority of UK airports (now including Norwich). I have used and found to be very good the following airline websites: www.cyplon.com; www.flythomascook.com and www.thomsonfly.com

Car hire is recommended (please enquire and we will tell you about the best deal available) although the bus service is just 300 yards from our villa and runs frequently; taking you to several villages, Coral Bay and the airport.
Local taxis are available from Coral Bay and are very reasonable - similar to UK charging.

“A fantastic Family Holiday Villa in a great Location” We have been to Penmere Villa twice and plan to go again July 2012. It is decorated to a very high standard with spacious rooms and a well equipped Kitchen. The vill ais set in the hills in a fantastic location - you need a car as it is not far from the beautiful Coral Bay Beach.

“The most beautiful villa we have ever stayed in!!!!” This villa is gorgeous. Better than expected. The information book was above and beyond the call of duty, everything was catered for, nothing left to chance, my husband was short of some of his medication and even that was helped by the book. Thought the whole array of toys was a great idea for the children and adults alike, we all enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to anyone. The accommodation was faultless and beautifully arranged, the pool was beautiful and the hot tub was a highlight of every evening. I can only say that we are looking forward very much to our next visit. Thank you Mr and Mrs Bennett so much for allowing us to share your beautiful home.
