There is a gas BBQ, sun loungers, inflatable pool toys and a large canopy sun umbrella for use around the pool.
Peyia village centre is a gentle 10 minute walk and offers guests a good selection of amenities, restaurants, cocktail bar and Coral Bay beach is just a few minutes drive. With an all year round Mediterranean climate historical Paphos is the most established holiday resort in Southern Cyprus and offers visitors an extensive choice of holiday attractions which include preserved heritage sites such as the Byzantine castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paul’s Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty).
The climate of Cyprus makes the summer months a popular time for tourism in Paphos, when temperatures are mid 30s degrees Celsius every day. However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas.
The sea front promenade is edged with chic street cafes and a good choice of international and local restaurants and the famous bar street area offers a lively nightlife.
The old area of Kato Paphos has a wonderful old covered market area to browse around, boutique shops and families are well catered for with a water park, Aquarium, boat trips, donkey sancturary, bird and reptile park, bowling alley, carting track with tunnel, and a good choice of blue flag family friendly beaches.
The Peyia / Peyia Village area
Peyia is a very popular and charming village situated on a gently sloping hillside overlooking Coral Bay. It is very traditional in look and feel with little winding streets, traditional stone houses, an old village church and shops at the centre.
Cafés, Bars, & Dining- You can have a coffee or snack at one of the cafés. A short walk from the apartment, there are several pubs or music bars. There is a good selection of traditional tavernas where you can try the local fish or meat meze, or you can try Sophie`s for themed food buffet evenings throughout the week- Mexican, Thai, Chinese &more. Choose to eat in and you can have kebabs or pizzas delivered or buy from the deli which supplies chicken curry, moussaka, salad, pasta and a choice of sweets.
Celebrations – join in with the festivities. During Easter and Christmas see the whole centre of the village lit with fairy lights which stretch all the way from Coral Bay to the Church centre, accompanied by lovely displays in the Municipal gardens to match the season.

The villa is situated in a quiet area of Peyia and whilst guests can enjoy a scenic walk through winding village roads to go into the centre of the village for dinner in the evening we would reccommend a hire car for local sightseeing and shopping.

Stayed for a week in October with my wife and 9 year old daughter. We had seen pictures on the website previously to booking but the villa far exceeded our exspectations. It was spotlessly clean and has all you homely refinements with the added extra of beautiful sunshine. The pool is a very good size and there are 6 sunbeds and various inflatables available for use. There are some nice bars, resturants and a bakery located nearby, approximately a 15 minute walk each way from the villa. Two places definately worth a visit are the Brewery Bar whom most nights had various singer acts and The Grande resturant up in Peyia village. The Grande is family run and the food is execellent. We will definately be back to Villa Diana next year! |
